HARRY'S POV

I was walking back to the Gryffindor Tower after being in the library with Ron and Hermione for two hours. Since I didn't have much homework for the weekend, and I already got a lot of it done with Hermione's help, I was in a really good mood. That all changed when I went into the fifth year boys' dormitory.

I open the door and there they were. My boyfriend, Dean Thomas, was kissing Seamus Finnigan. They pulled apart, and Dean saw the tears spilling down my cheeks. He stood up, and opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off.

"No! You're not allowed to give me an excuse because you don't have a good one! There's not an excuse for this! You were enjoying that kiss and I know it! We're done, okay? Don't talk to me anymore!" I looked at Seamus quickly and then ran out the door and down the stairs.

"Harry!" I heard Dean yell, "Harry, please wait! I love you!"

"No you don't," I muttered to myself as I headed to the portrait, tears still rolling, "but I loved you."

When I exited the portrait hole, I saw Neville walking towards it. He saw my tears, and a concerned look came to his face.

"Harry?" He questioned, coming closer. "Are you alright? Did Dean do something?"

I shook my head, "I'm not o-okay. Dean ch-cheated on me! I'll talk to you l-later okay? I need to be alone."

Neville didn't seem to want to leave me alone, but he nodded. "Don't do anything stupid, alright?"

I nodded, "Okay."

He gave me a quick hug and then entered the portrait hole. I soon heard him yelling, and then I rushed down the corridor, heading to the Room of Requirements.

Before I could make it there, Malfoy appeared. He was going down the corridor, when he saw me. He stopped in his tracks, and stared at my tear-stained face, as I sobbed some more. For a moment I thought I actually saw a concerned look on his face, but I shook my head. Malfoy doesn't care about me, right?

"Just go away, Malfoy," I croaked, "I can't handle people making fun of me right now."

I started to walk past him, but he stopped me. "Wait, Potter."

I turned and looked at him, "What?"

He looked down then back at me, "What happened? And don't say it's nothing, because it's obvious it's something."

"It's none of your business," I replied, wiping away some tears.

"Was it Dean? Did he do something?" Suddenly anger crossed his face and I grew confused. "Did he hurt you?"

"Not physically no. If you really want to know, he cheated on me."

To my surprise, Malfoy looked outraged. "He cheated on you?! With whom?!"

He looked about ready to storm off and hex Dean into oblivion. I gave him a questioning look.

"Seamus," I told him.

He blew out an angry breath and stalked past me, "Why those little-"

I cut him off and grabbed his wrist, "Wait! Please don't."

He relaxed a little and stared into my eyes. "Harry, he hurt you. Blimey, he cheated on you!"

Harry? He used my first name?

"I know, but it doesn't do any good to physically hurt him. Or hurt him in any way. I'll get over it eventually... I guess. Why do you care so much anyways?" I asked him.

He breathed out heavily and looked away. "I... It's just, I would treat you so much better Harry. I would never ever hurt you in any way, if you were mine. I definitely would not cheat on you, either."

"I thought you hated me," I pointed out.

He laughed, but in a sad way. "The exact opposite actually. I love you. Don't worry though, I don't expect the feelings to be reciprocated."

"Draco..." I used his first name, "I've had a crush on you since first year! Of course, I thought you were straight and hated me, and so I fell for Dean last year and started dating him. I never stopped loving you, though."

He looked up, a hopeful look in his eyes. "Really?" He breathed out.

I nodded. "Yeah. Maybe when I've had time to heal over Dean, we could go out."

Draco smiled, "Yeah, okay."
