I woke up the next morning to the smell of eggs and bacon

I walked sleepily into the kitchen and I saw something that made me break in two

I saw Corey and Lana with their backs to me eating their breakfast happily Corey had his arm around the back of her chair and Lana was wearing one of Corey's shirts.

"How is it babe?" Lana said

"They're alright." Corey smiled at her

I walked quickly into the kitchen and grabbed out a bowl setting it down lightly on the table I opened the fridge fighting tears and got out the milk. Then I grabbed some fruity pebbles

"There are eggs over there if you want some." Lana said to me plastering a fake smile on her face

"No I'm alright." I said almost whispering

I grabbed my bowl of cereal and started heading back into my room

"Don't you want to eat with us?" Lana said happily

"No I'm okay." I said my voice cracking

I shut my door and locked it

I walked over to my window and set my bowl on the ledge

I opened my window and hopped up to sit there

I dangled my feet out the window and sighed

I couldn't stop thinking about what I just saw

I tried to take a bite but my throat swelled up and my eyes started to well up with salty tears

I set the spoon back down.

"I'm not hungry anymore." I said to myself

I picked my the bowl and threw it to the sidewalk down below

It fell fast and shattered into a million pieces.
