I stared at Naomi's lifeless body in the street

I was speechless.

I ran over to her and took off my jacket and put it on her bleeding head.

I'm not a doctor but I could tell she was losing blood fast.

I took out my phone and dialed 911

"Hello, what's your emergency?"

"I NEED AN AMBULANCE."

"Sir, please calm down, what happened."

"My um.. girlfriend, yeah girlfriend. Just got hit by a car and she needs an ambulance. She's losing a lot of blood."

"Okay where are you at?"

After telling the operator a ton of directions I turned to Naomi. And I picked her up and put her on the sidewalk. By this time people were coming out of classes and rushing over to help.

I put my hand against her chest.

Nothing.

I started freaking out

"SHES NOT BREATHING!" I screamed crying

I got down on my knees and started pressing down on her chest

Good thing I know CPR.

I'm not ready to lose her.

I pushed down on her chest again

I can't

I pushed harder

If I lose her, I will lose myself

I pushed again

I know that sounds silly. But in the short time I've known Naomi. She's become my everything. She's all I think about.

I pushed on her chest a final time.

Then the ambulance pulled up and four paramedics ran over with a stretcher

One paramedic kneeled next to her and two other paramedics dragged me away from Naomi.

"What's her condition."

"From the looks of it, not good."

I inhaled a sharp breath.

They lifted her up on the Stretcher and I gave them my number so they could tell me any updates on her.

Before they left one of the paramedics told me to go home and get some rest.

I ran home. I only lived a few blocks away.

I ran inside my apartment and slammed the door.

I ran my hands through my hair.

I punched the wall as hard as I could

And finally

I

Broke.

I sat on the floor and cried and yelled for as long as I could.

Then I grabbed a new jacket and ran out to my car and drove up to the hospital.

When I got there I learned that since I've seen her she has went under cardiac arrest. Twice.

She has major internal bleeding

And she's on life support

I was told there was a 50% chance she'd make it through the night

Her parents were in the waiting room along with her sister, Kai, Layla, Skye, Kendall,Eric, and one of her friends named Allie.

We were all a wreck

Then a doctor came out

"Hello everyone." He sighed

"Mrs Winters hasn't been doing the greatest."
He rubbed the back of his neck

"I'm sorry to say we expect she won't last the night."

My heart sunk.
