(SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 EPISODE 15)
When Mick betrayed the team a part of him, a part of him that had secretly believed that in the end the Legion would win, had hoped that by being a part of the Legion and having influence over how they use the Spear he could at least give his former team a chance at survival/not being tortured for the rest of their days.
There's been a lot of debate going on about how guilty Mick is for his decision and while half of me is bitter because A) being poorly treated doesn't give you the right to basically damn the whole world and B) this now means that Charles, Henry, Courtney, and Rip's sacrifices have been for nothing...
... Mick really wasn't given much reason to want to fight for the good side, especially with how the team's been treating him.
I've been staying out of it so far, but I'm really interested to see where they're going to go with this.
