Upgrade....MORE!?

Skylynx's P.O.V.

I smiled giddily to myself as I closed the door to my berthroom, excited to get a new paint job. The even more exciting thing about this was that I was going to get an upgrade, too! I nearly bounced up and down, but I stopped myself, knowing if I made too much noise, I would obviously get in trouble.
I sat on my berth, looking around at my still dull looking room. I looked down at my servo, the pale blue and greyish blue colours still existent on it, and pointed out a digit at the wall. I smiled, looking at my sharp digit before walking to the wall, and silently scratching each Autobot name into the metallic wall. Optimus, Bulkhead, Wheeljack, Arcee, Bumblebee, Smokescreen, and... I stopped myself. I looked at my chest, and then at my shoulder plating... I didn't have an Autobot insignia. Was I an Autobot? Or was I just an Autobot's daughter? I vented and shook my helm, scratching in all our human friend's names in smaller letters below the Autobots names. I decided to leave my name out for now, in case I ever got an insignia. I left my berthroom quietly before closing the door behind me, deciding to see if I could find Optimus. He was always somewhere, but I could never find him. I used to try and find him when Iwas younger, so it was just like a game the humans called 'hide and seek'. I smiled at the thought of my past, and I bumped into somebody, since i was watching the ground as I walked. I fell backwards right after, and I felt two strong servos wrap around my waist, keeping me from hitting the ground. "Woah! Uh, Skylynx! You okay?" I recognised the nervous voice. I looked up to see the familiar blue optics of Smokescreen, and energon rushed to my faceplates. ...Wait. why was I blushing? Embarrassment? N-no.. I didn't really feel embarrassed. What the frag?

I smiled, still a bit startled by our miniature crash. "Y-yeah.. I'm good. Wh-what're you doing here?" I asked, and his optics widened in remembrance. "Oh! Yea, I needed to talk with Ratchet." He said, quickly picking me up and helping me to my pedes. "Oh! I'll come with. Sire said he'd upgrade me next time you and the others went on a mission." I said, and he nodded, walking alongside me as we went to the medbay.

Ratchet's P.O.V.

I smiled calmly at Skylynx as she came into the room and hugged me happily. I saw Smokescreen and I frowned slightly. I didn't like Smokescreen that much, but I did think he was a good fighter, which helped us alot during energon extraction missions. I had to convince myself that he wasn't out to steal my little femme before he was actually tolerable. He still annoyed me sometimes, but not as much as before. Skylynx concluded our hug and Smokescreen walked up to me. "Any missions?" He asked casually, and I nodded, gesturing to my computer. "One mission. You and Bulkhead will go and retrieve energon. Be careful, there have been Decepticon sightings readings there." I warned, and he nodded. "Okay, well where's Bulk?" He asked dully, and I rolled my optics and gestured to the doorway, where Bulkhead leaned on the doorway. The green wrecker had been peeking around my shoulder many times today, since to him, there was nobody to play any of his favourite Cybertronian games. He decided to observe me doing my work from the doorway on the other side of the room.
Smokescreen smiled and looked at Ratchet. "Okay, so let's get going!" He said calmly, obviously excited for his mission. I pressed the button on the control panel, activating the ground bridge to their destination. Soon after that, they informed Optimus and left to go on their mission. I smiled at Skylynx and grabbed my toolbox and datapad. "I already have the blueprints and schematics for your upgrade. If you want you can make some changes, sweetspark." I said calmly, and she rolled her optics. "Sire, I'm 15, I don't need to be called that anymore." She said, a small smile on her faceplates. I chuckled and handed her the datapad, and she looked through her upgrade design. Every so often, she would point out a flaw she disliked, and I would redesign it, and then soon after, she requested an accessory I didn't think a femme like her would want, but I agreed and added it to her upgrade as well.
"Alright. Is that what you want your upgrade to look like? This is just a prediction." I asked, and she nodded. "Yeah. U-umm.. will this hurt?" She asked, a small frown formed on her faceplates. "Of course not. I'll put you in stasis, and then I can start with your upgrade. I promise it won't hurt." I reassured her, and she nodded nervously, and I lead her to a large medical berth with a scanner overtop of it. The berth was usually used for complex injuries or for studying Cybertronian relics, but I decided to use it on this occasion. I gestured for her lay down, and she did so, squirming around a bit before stopping and looking at me with her bright green optics. I smiled gently. "It's okay. Just vent slowly, and I'll put you in stasis. You won't feel a thing." I said, and she took a deep vent, closing her optics as calmly as she could. I grabbed a small metallic syringe with stasis energon contained within and injected it into my little predacon's neck cords. She winced slightly for a quick second, before relaxing once more and falling into stasis soon after. I vented and opened my toolbox, getting to work almost immediately.

Smokescreen's P.O.V.

I picked up two medium sized energon cubes and handed one to Bulkhead. "Only about fourteen cubes here from what I can see." I said, and the green wrecker nodded. "Yeah, I thought there'd be more, since it's an underground cave in the middle of nowhere." He said, and I shrugged. "Well maybe someone else was storing them here, and gave up on their little collection." I joked, and Bulkhead chuckled. "Well let's just get these back to base." He said as I picked up three more cubes. "Okay." I said, and soon after I said that, I heard a deep growl from behind me, deeper inside the cave. I turned around cautiously, and I saw two glowing pale teal optics glaring down at me. I couldn't see anything else belonging to the beast in front of me.. except for it's optics. I kept the energon in my servos, frozen in fear. "Uhh... B-Bulkhead? I think we should run..." I said, fear stuck in my voicebox. He nodded silently, stunned as well. I dropped the energon and started running with Bulkhead running in front of me. I looked behind me to see a mechanical beast with large arm-like wings for front talons and a bulking base of a body. Seeing the monster only made me run faster, and the creature roared. I turned on my comm. link. "Ratchet! Ground bridge! N-NOW!?" I requested anxiously as we exited the cave and kept running, although the creature's roar were becoming quieter. Without an answer, a ground bridge appeared in front of Bulk and I and we ran through as it quickly disappeared behind us. Ratchet looked at me with concerned optics. "What happened? Decepticon ambush?" He asked, and I shook my helm, still out of breath from running so much. "N..No... Pre-predacon... Monster.... S-something.." I said, taking in deep vents with my servos on my knees plates, holding my weight on them. Bulkhead nearly fell over, venting heavily. "There are more?" I looked over in surprise to see a femme at the doorway of the medbay, with green optics and a taller figure. I looked at her in confusion, before recognising the greyish blue paint job. It wasSkylynx's new upgrade. She looked at me with shock, concern and anxiety.. she heard what I said... 'Oh by the all spark this is gonna take alot of explaining..' I thought tiredly.

UGH!!!! FINALLY I'M FINISHED THIS CHAPTER!!! I swear to the all-spark my brain couldn't take it!! I'm sorry if this took long, 2nd term is ending in like..A day so I had to focus on work and only work for a couple of days.  Not only that, but ooh! I'm even MORE busy during spring break!! Wouldya lookit that! So that means not as many updates! Hope ya like da suspension! -btw i will DEFINITELY have to give a big thanks to StuartDoran cuz this majestic master of ideas is so fucking creative!!! Translation: gave me so many ideas for this fanfiction!!! XD SEEYALATER!
