Skylynx's P.O.V.

I held on tight to Wheeljack's pede, making a pouty face as he tried to gently shake me off. "C'mon, Lynx, I gotta go." He said, and I shook my helm. "Noo! Don't go! You gotta staay!" I whined, and the white, red and green wrecker groaned tiredly. Bumblebee snickered quietly and picked me up with a servo. :"Come on, he'll be back, it's okay." Bee said reassuringly, but I shook my helm again and squirmed in his servos. Wheeljack just vented and stepped in front of me and took me from Bee's servos. I looked at him with pouty optics and he smirked. "It's just one mission, I'll be fine. I'll get the energon and come back." He said calmly, and I frowned at him. "Oh yeah, you'll come back. With energon spilling from your side!" I shouted in a sarcastic tone, and his optics widened in surprise. "No I'll be fine, kiddo." He said, lying to me again. "No, Sire's computer said that the location was set to an escape pod that Sire repaired. You're going away. And according to you, 'Computers never lie' " I said sarcastically, and Wheeljack vented in defeat. "Alright. I am going to leave earth, but I promise I will be back in a few months or so. I'm just gonna explore the galaxy near earth. It's fine." He explained, and I vented sadly. "Okay, but if you die out there I'll turn you into scrap." I said seriously, and Arcee scolded me. "Language, Skylynx." She said, and I nodded. Wheeljack set me down on the floor beside Arcee and Bumblebee, and smiled. "I'll be back, Alive." He said reassuringly, and everybody said their goodbyes.. and Bulkhead gave him a big bear hug. I watched as he walked into the ground bridge before disappearing, and I almost immediately walked to my room. :"Lynx... Are you okay?" Bee asked me as I was walking away. I didn't bother to turn my helm. "I'm fine." I said bitterly, and I closed the door to my berthroom.

Ratchet's P.O.V.

I heard the sound of pedes entering the medbay, and I looked over to see Optimus looking at me. "Optimus, what brings you here?" I ask him calmly, and he smiled lightly at me. "I came to speak with you about the Decepticons.. I have the suspicion that Megatron is up to something." He said, and I nodded. "Yes, I believe so as well. He hasn't sent any troops after us whilst our missions to get energon, and he hasn't since Skylynx was attacked." I observed, and I looked down at my pedes, not wanting to think about my little sweetspark getting hurt. "I believe Predaking informed Megatron of Skylynx, and now he wants her." Optimus said, interrupting my processor. My optics widened and stared at the prime. "Why? He has a Predacon already." I asked, watching Optimus in a confused manner. "Megatron had become interested in Predacons. Which means he will want to have as many Predacons allied to him during this war, and if he gets his servos on Skylynx, he could be able to achieve this. I believe Megatron knows this." He explained. I looked at the floor, concern clear on my face. "M-megatron wants me?" I turned my helm quickly over to the entrance to see Lynx looking up at me worriedly. "W-why does he want to take me away?" She asked as her voicebox became shaky. I knelt down to her quickly and pulled her into a hug. "He won't take you away.. I promise that I will never let him hurt you... Ever." I reassured her. She wrapped her small servos around me and stayed silent, but I could feel coolant falling down her faceplates. "Shh, shhh... It's okay." I said to her quietly, and I felt strong servos wrap around both me and Lynx. I opened my optics and saw Optimus, comforting both me and my daughter gently. I smiled and Skylynx nuzzled her faceplates into my chest, and it seemed as though she didn't mind both of us hugging her. I closed my optics again and continued embracing Lynx and Optimus.

-Okay so this is a bit of fluff and depression here, and I like it, cuz ima dramatic shit when it comes to fanfics. But! I do ship Ratchet x Optimus, so I put in some adorable fluff! Yay!
