The trap

Finn's POV

When Detective Lopez arrived he informed us that Mark wasn't helping Emily. He said that Mark had called them once he found out about Emily's plan and has offered to help stop her. I wasn't sure if we should trust him but Rachel said she believed Mark truely wanted to protect us.

"So you're saying you trust Mark Detective?" I asked him.

"Yes, most family members try to protect each other, he wants to protect you from Emily. Unfortunetly noone knows where she is hiding out. When she contacted him earlier, she was using a burner phone."

"So what is the plan now?" Burt asked the detective.

"We are placing more officers around the house and I advise you to only go out during the day. We are also working on a trap"

"A trap for what?" I asked him.

"Emily, we want her to believe she has found you, we will set up a place and when she comes, we will arrest her."

"Okay, how long would she be put away for?" Rachel asked

"Well unfortuately she might get up to five years. She hasn't physically hurt anyone." He said.

"She won't stop. What Emily wants, she will get. Let me lure her, I'm the one she wants. If she comes for me and Finn isn't around she won't hurt anyone or even me." Rachel said.

"WHAT? Hell no Rachel, are you crazy? This girl is nuts, what if she does hurt you?" I yelled at her.

"Finn, she won't. I can save everyone. Please let me at least try." She said grabbing my hands.

"Rachel is right, if she contacts Mark, he can pass the info onto Emily. All she has to say is where to meet her, it could work. She won't hurt Rachel." Lopez said.

"What if she does hurt her?" I asked.

"She will wear a bullet proof vest. Nothing will happen, we will surround the area with officers and once she's in, we will arrest her"

"Fine, we trust you" I said feeling defeated.

"I'll be fine, as long as I know you all are safe" Rachel said.

"When will this happen?" Hiram asked the detective.

"We will need a few days to set everything up. I will call you once I know all the details. This is a huge risk and I don't want anyone to screw up"

"Yeah, no shit. You're putting my girlfriends life at risk."

"We know what we are doing Finn. You need to trust us. No harm will come to any of you"

"Better not" I was angry. Why the hell would Rachel volunteer like that. Emily is dangerous, noone can be sure she won't hurt her. Without saying anything else, I got up from the couch and went to the basement to workout. I needed to punch something or even someone. That someone would be Emily. What Rachel is doing, is stupid and risky. What if it doesn't go how they expect it to. She is smart, she might even catch on or even find us before the trap is set up. The past week I've tried to figure out where everything went wrong and for the life of me I can't, she hid it well and now our lives are in danger.

Emily's POV

I had nowhere else to go, so I broke into my old house, we haven't sold it yet so technically it was still ours. Setting up Rachel's tablet I went through her search history looking for any clues on where they might've went. Since they ruined all my cameras I set up around the house I had no idea where they went or why they even left. After an hour of searching I came up with nothing. I grabbed the bag of clothes I took from Rachel, a picture of her and all the cell phones that were left in the house. That's another thing, all of the cell phones, laptops, clothes along with everything else they had was also left behind. The first phone I looked at was Finn's I went through his texts, some pissed me off, most of them were to and from Rachel about sex or saying I love you. After reading them all I went through his call log. The last call received was from Santana. They talked for over 10 minutes, I pushed call just to see if she would answer, instead it said that this phone was no longer in service. What the hell, how is his phone no longer in service. Picking up Rachel's phone I looked through her texts and call logs before going to contacts. Once again I tried to make a call and to my surprise her phone was also shut off. Going back through Finns phone I found Aidans number. Dialing it on my phone I waited for it to ring. After a couple rings he answered.
