Fresh start

Rachels' POV

I was looking at the mirror at my belly when Finn walked into our room. We came back home from Put in bay last Thursday and today we are going to find out what our little peanut will be. Finn and Lexi both want a boy but I just want the baby to be healthy.

"Morning goregous, are you excited to find out the sex?" He asked ashe walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around me.

"Morning handsome, yes I am excited. Is Lexi almost ready? We need to leave soon honey"

"Yes, she is eatting her breakfast with your dads. Do you think we should find a new house baby? I don't want your dads to be overwhelmed with us and two kids" he said.

"We can talk to them about it, but I know they will beg us to stay here, they love having Lexi here, haven't you noticed that they don't travel so much?"

"Yeah I have, I thought that's just because we went to Sandusky all summer." He answered

"No that was the first time I have even spent a whole summer with them"

"Well, let's talk to them and then we can make our decison, in the meantime let's go load Lexi into the car" I said and gave him a kiss. When we pulled apart, I grabbed my purse and we went downstairs.

"Morning dad and daddy" I said when we walked into the kitchen.

"Morning baby, Burt, kurt and Carol will meet us at outback for dinner" My dad told us.

"Okay dad sounds perfect, we have to run. I don't want to be later for our appointment. Love you" I said and hugged them both.

"Can't wait to find out the sex. We love you all, see you tonight at dinner" my dads said. When we were finally on our way to the clinic, I started to get excited. I can't believe in was having Finn's baby, two years ago I never thought I would date him, let alone marry him and raise babies with him. It was like a dream and I wanted to pinch myself just to make sure it was real. Pulling into the parking lot, he parked the truck and helped Lexi out of the truck before coming around and helping me down.

"Lexi baby, are you excited to find out if you will be getting a brother or sister?" I asked her

"Yes mommy" she said smiling. We walked inside and up to the counter.

"Hi I'm here for an ultrasound" I said to the lady

"Name please?" She asked me smiling.

"Um Berry" I answered

"Okay a nurse will be out shortly sweetie" she said and I nodded before taking a seat in the waiting area.

"Rachel Berry?" A nurse said when she walked out into the waiting room.

"That's me" I said and we stood up.

"Follow me please" she said and she led us to a room. Soon after the technician walked in and smiled.

"Hi Rachel, I'm Samantha, I'll be doing your ultrasound, are you ready to find out what you are having?" She asked me.

"Yes I sure am" I said and lifted up my shirt. She put the gel on and moved the wand over my belly. Seeling the baby on the monitor made me cry, I couldn't believe It.

"Congratulations, its a boy" she said after a minute. I was so happy, I wanted a boy. We already have a daughter and having a boy was perfect. I looked at Finn and he was crying.

"My son" was all he said as he stared at the monitor and smiled.

"Our son and beautiful daughter. Finn I can't believe it." I said and began to cry myself.
