Beginning

16 year old Rachel Berry had everything a girl could wish for, she was rich, has the highest GPA in school, she drove a black 2009 BMW and is one of the best singers in school, but the one thing she didn't have was Finn Hudson. Rachel has been in love with Finn Hudson since the 8th grade and has tried everything to get his attention but nothing seemed to work, until the day he joined glee club.

Rachel woke up to her alarm blaring beside her head. She jumped up from her bed and began her morning routine. An hour later she was showered and ready to begin her first day of school. Walking downstairs she noticed her dads were eating breakfast and drinking their morning coffee.

"Morning dad and daddy" she said to them as she sat down to eat her bagel

"Morning sweetheart, are you excited for your first day as a Junior" Her dad Leroy asked.

"Of course I am, I hope to join the new glee club called New Directions" she said excitedly

"Okay guys, I have to run or I will be late, see you both at dinner. I love you!" Rachel said as she got up and started to walk out the door.

20 minutes later she arrived at McKinley high, as she was parking her best friend Emily Dean waved at her and started to head over.

"Hey Rach, sorry I missed your call last night, my parents made me go to bed early" Emily said.

"That's okay Em, I was just calling to ask if you needed a ride this morning" I said.

"Well I was actually wondering if you could give me a ride home from school? Mark refuses to pick me up" she said to me.

" Yeah sure, meet me here after class" I said.

" Thanks Rach" Em said

" No problem, let's head to our lockers, I have math 1st period, what about you?" Rachel asked.

" I have math 1st also" Emily replied

After we both put our back packs in our lockers we started to head to class. As we were walking I suddenly bumped into someone, I looked up to apologize and my breath caught, looking back at me was Finn Hudson.

"Oh gosh, i-i'm s-so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was walking" I said to Finn.

"That's okay, no harm done, see ya around" Finn said walking away.

Composing myself I turned around and continued to head to class. although out class I couldn't concentrate, all I could think about was Finn and just how gorgeous he was.

Finns Pov

I was walking to my history class, when someone ran into me. I hadn't been paying much attention and talking over my shoulder my Spanish teacher Mr. Schuester.

"Oh gosh, i-i'm s-so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was walking" she said

"That's okay, no harm done, see ya around" I said walking away.

"Hey Puck" I said as I approached Noah Puckerman in the hallway.

"Hey Finn, what's up man? Whose the chick you were talking to?" Puck asked me.

"I have no clue, I was hoping you would know" I said to him

"Nah man, sorry I don't, anyways which class are you heading to?" he asked me

"History, you?" I replied

"English, alright man I will see you at lunch" Puck replied and started to head toward his class.

AL throughout history I kept thinking about the girl in the hall. Who is she? I asked myself, she seems familiar but I can't think of who she could be. Oh well we go to school together, I'm bound to have a class with her, I hoped so at least. There's just something about her, something I'm determined to figure out but until then I need to get through history.
