Finns POV
Since we filed a restraining order against Quinn, we had to delay the move a few days. Yesterday we had to appear in court. She is no longer aloud to contact me or come within 100 feet of us. Ever since the confrontation on Friday, Lexi has slept with Rachel and I. She is scared that the mean lady with come back and hurt me. I felt horrible that she was so scared. Today we were finally leaving Lima, it was time for us to start over.
After jumping out of the shower and dressing, I went into the bedroom to wake the girls up.
"Come on sleepy heads, wake up" Rachel was the first to wake up.
"Morning honey, I'm going to jump in the shower before we leave" she said and kissed me before going into the bathroom. Lexi was still sleeping so I bent down next to the bed.
"Lexi baby, wake up Princess" I said and she opened her eyes and closed them again." Come on baby, we have to leave soon"
"But I'm sleepy daddy" she said when she opened her eyes.
"I know baby, guess what?"
"What daddy?" She asked and jumped up quickly.
"We get to move into the new house today, isn't that exciting baby?"
"No more scary lady right daddy?" She asked me
"No baby, daddy took care of the scary lady." I told her and sighed. I hate Quinn.
"You protect me daddy"
"I will always protect you princess" I told her and she wrapped her tiny arms around me.
"I love you daddy"
"I love you more baby, now let's get you dressed" I said and grabbed her luggage." What do you want to wear baby?"
"This one daddy" she said pointing to the pink and yellow tutu.
"Sweetie its too cold for that, how about jeans and this pink shirt?" The shirt said daddys princess on it and she smiled.
"Can I wear boots like mommy?" She asked
"Yes you can wear boots like mommy" when she was dressed, Rachel came out of the bathroom.
"Mommy look, I wear boots like you" Lexi said and pointed to her boots.
"I see that, do you want to help mommy pick out clothes?" She asked her and Lexi jumped up and down.
"Yes" she said and ran to Rachels luggage. I looked over at Rachel and smiled. God she is so beautiful. Lexi picked out a pair of jeans and a pink shirt." Here mommy we match now" she said handing Rachel the clothes and I laughed. They were too cute.
"How did you know this is what I wanted to wear baby?" Rachel asked her smiling and Lexi shrugged and smiled up at her. Since it was colder now, Rachel pulled out a thin black jacket to go over the pink shirt and left it open. Lexi turned to me and I knew she wanted to do the same thing as Rachel, laughing at her, I pulled out a black sweater to go over her pink shirt to match mommy.
"Here you go baby" I said and put the thin sweater around her. Rachel was laughing because we went through this every day with Lexi. She always had to match her.
"Daddy, when new baby comes, will he match you like I do mommy?" She asked me and I smiled at her.
"I don't know baby, his clothes will be really tiny but maybe when he is older" I told her
"Lexi guess what's coming up next month?" Rachel asked her. Lexi's birthday is November 7th and we plan to take her and Damien to disney world next summer.
