THANK YOU

Btw I'm looking back at chapters and cringing at both my writing and how awkward my authors notes are, I'm considering editing all of them?

Josh and I are over half way back to the tour bus, completely soaked from head to toe. Not only is it still raining from when we had left the bus just hours before, it is raining a lot harder.

I study the streets around us, watching as the rain falls in heavy sheets onto the road, slowly draining into the rapidly filling gutters. Cars race by, sending waves of water onto the side walk as they drive over small puddles, narrowly missing us every time.

A sharp gust of wind hits my back, causing a row of shivers to run down my spine. I rub my arms, trying to create some warmth that I so desperately need right now.

I glance down at the crammed shopping bags in my hands, praying that the new items aren't drenched.

I really would love to be able to change out of these soggy clothes when I get back.

A few minutes pass and I open my mouth to speak, wanting to tell Josh that we were almost back, however I catch him staring at me.

"What are you looking at?" I laugh.

"Oh, um nothing" He says trying to brush it off, his cheeks flushing a faint pink.

"No, really. Why were yo-"
A heavy wave of water interrupts me, hitting my left side and I stop still in my tracks, completely shocked. I watch the back of the car drive away, the driver not seeming to have a care In the world about what they just did.

Did that really just happen

I raise my arms up and I look down at my completely wet clothes. Water droplets drips off of the arms of the jumper josh let me borrow. So much for him wanting to keep me dry.

I snap my head at Josh who is a few feet in front of me with his hands clasped over his mouth as I hear him desperately holding back laughter.

"Oh you think this is funny do you?" I say, narrowing my eyes at him.

"K-kind of, yeah" He stammers out, trying his best not to burst out in laughs.

"Well lets see if you like it!" I smirk as I splash a puddle of water on the footpath at him.

"W-what?...H-hey!" He yells, finally breaking out into laughter.

I laugh with him, a big smile spread across my face. I quickly stop as soon as he races towards me with a devilish smile. He kicks his foot at the same puddle of water in front of me, splashing me back.

"Hey! That's not fair! I was the one completely soaked by the car!" I shout, pointing at him as he continues on in his fit of laughter.

"Well you shouldn't have splashed me!" He says with a wide grin.

"Well you shouldn't have laughed at me" I laugh as I step closer to him.
