Josh and I end up walking the rest of the way in silence. A comfortable silence.
As we arrive to the large mall, I point over to a small cafe near the entrance.
"That's where I work" I say nonchalantly.
"It isn't very good though, I definitely don't recommend going there" I laugh as we walk into the building.
"I'd probably still go since you work there" He says, glancing over to me.
I open my mouth to respond but a bright flash aimed in our direction stops me from doing to.
"S-shit!" I hear a girl whisper-yell.
I turn to the direction of the flash and find a lone teenage girl standing there. She was looking guilty as ever while nervously fumbling with her phone. As she looked up at us, well more at Josh, I saw that she had a frightened stare plastered all over her face.
"I-I'm so sorry! I-I was just too scared to ask for a photo." She smiles sheepishly.
I look back over to Josh and see a big, friendly grin stretched across his face, causing me to smile as well.
"Hey it's fine, come here!" He laughs, gesturing for the girl to come over.
She walks over and Josh gives her a hug.
He's so sweet.
"You should've just come up and asked, I don't bite" Josh laughs again, still smiling at the girl.
I observe the girl and realise she's actually quite a lot taller than Josh, which I find funny.
She looks over at me and I smile, receiving a sweet smile back from her.
She looks back over to Josh
"Who's this Josh? Is she your new girl?" She smirks. Josh stiffens up momentarily.
I'm not very surprised that she said that though, knowing how fast fangirls are to 'ship' people as they say.
"O-oh um, this is y/n! And no she's not my new "girl" S-she's... a friend!" He says surprised.
Josh Dun just said I was his friend. Never in a million years I would have thought he'd ever say that.
"I was just joking" the girl giggles.
"A-and now knowing you won't um, bite, do you mind if I can get a photo?" She says pointing at her phone.
"Of course!" Josh smiles.
I step forward.
"Here, I can take the photo if you would like?" I offer.
"Oh thank you!" The girl says, smiling.
She hands her phone over to me and I step back, adjusting the angle of the phone. I find just the right spot and take a few photos.
I lower her phone and walk back over to hand it to her.
"C-can I get one with you in it too? If you don't mind?" She asks.
