Chapter 10

"Okay Josh, I'm ready" I call out as i walk out of the bathroom.

I wander into the main area and am greeted by Josh's smile. I stop infront of him.

"So where shall I put your pants?" I ask, looking down at him on the couch.

"Well, you can keep them if you want? I mean they fit you pretty well and its not like they are my only pair." He offers. "Plus you look pretty adorable in them" Josh smiles as he pushes himself up off the couch, walking over to his shoes by the exit.

I freeze in place, my grip on his... well now my pants tighten. A slight blush feathers my cheeks and my heart starts racing.

Did he really just say that? Oh my gosh, did Josh Dun just tell me that I look adorable?  In HIS pants!?

"So are you coming?" His words snap me out of my thoughts.

"Oh! Yeah I am, just let me go put your... I mean um, my pants away." I say flustered as I rush to my bunk, avoiding any eye contact with him.

I reach the bunk and place the sweatpants on the base of the bed, my heart still racing. I stand up straight, inhaling a big breath, and slowly exhale it out.

Okay y/n, calm down. Don't freak out.

I take in one last big breath, and relax my shoulders.

"Okay" I say to myself as I walk to the main area.

Stepping out of the bunk space I see Josh waiting by the exit stairs, flashing a small smile at me. I smile back at him and retrieve my shoes that were rested under the couch. I gently sit down on the edge and slip the (color of choice) shoes on, swiftly tying the laces with ease.

"Ready?" Josh asks.

"Yep" I say, popping the 'p'.

"Okaaay, lets go!" He exclaims, goofily pointing towards the door.

I giggle and push myself off of the couch, walking out of the bus behind him.

As we exit I feel a sudden downpour of water hit my head. We both realise it's still raining from the night before.

"Great" I say annoyed.

Josh taps my shoulder
"Wait here!"
Josh says as he turns back to the bus.

I didn't have time to respond as he was already gone.
I walk over to the stairs to enter to bus and sit on them, not wanting to stand in the rain.

I wait there for about a minute, admiring how pretty rain is. All of a sudden I feel another tap on my shoulder. I turn my head around and see Josh standing behind me.

He offers me a hand to take and I accept it. He pulls me up and we end up dangerously close to each other's face. I mean, our noses were nearly touching. I quickly look down

"O-o-oh my gosh s-sorry" I say as I take a step back.

I look back up to him, his cheeks a bright red, mine to painted in the same color.

"U-um, here." He says handing me a hoodie. It was very similar to the black one he was wearing. He smiles.

"It's raining and I don't want you to get too wet" He says while rubbing the back of he's neck.
