> Oh you're a dead girl
~
I stared blankly at my phone. I imagined all of the ways my mom would've hurt me, and all of the ways she had hurt me.
I let out a quick sigh as I looked up to Josh. My lip quivered.
"Sorry I have to g-" I stopped at his expression.
His face was riddled with both confusion and concern.
He must of read the texts,
Great.
My heart quickly picked up its pace as I nervously stuffed the device into my back pocket.
"I-uh, d-did... did you see those, those uh, texts?" I stuttered out.
I bit my shaking lip as I looked down to the ground, rubbing my arm.
"Um yes uh, I did. Are you-" I cut him off, already knowing what he was going to say.
"I-" I looked down with furrowed brows, my eyes closed.
I hated so badly that he knew, I didn't want anyone to know. There was so much shame I had from it, so him knowing made it feel even worse.
I frowned and tilted my head back up to him, my tear filled eyes meeting with his warm, brown ones.
"I'm sorry I've got to go" I said quietly, sounding almost like a whisper.
I turned on my heel, hastily walking away.
"Wait" I said, yet I barley heard.
I didn't hear anything after that. I thought to myself that he just walked away. I let out a small sob as a warm tear runs down my cheek.
Come on
Don't be a cry baby
I desperately held back my tears as I tried to make my way towards the carpark.
Little did I know that Josh was finding someone.
[Josh's POV]
I stared at her, lost in the deep void of her (e/c) eyes.
She had a different energy to any people I had met. She carried herself in a way that was so... intriguing. I wanted to know more about [y/n]. I wanted to sit down with her and have a conversation about anything and everything.
Her eyes glimmered brighter than the sun, and painted across her face was an adorable smile as she looked up to me, growing even more as if she just thought of something. Her smile was a contagious one, and could boost anyone's mood if they just so simply glanced at it. I could tell she was happy, which made me feel even happier than I was originally.
I noticed however, hidden behind her smile was a girl who seemed tired. Lilac pooled under her sunken eyes as her cheeks were drawn. Her skin ashen grey, causing her appearance to seem ill.
At least in this moment, she seemed happy.
That was until her phone ruined it with a chime. It started us both.
I studied her face as she read it. I frowned as her sweet smile faded and her face went even paler than it was. I knew it was wrong of me to do, but I needed to know what made her mood drop, so I glanced down at the message.
More like messages.
I was very confused as I read them, but then it hit me.
She's being abused
My heart drops.
I want to help her,
I need to help her,
I have to help her,
How do I help her?
She looked back up to me, her face filled with fear. I could tell she was trying to hide it.
"Sorry I have to g-" She stopped, seeing how concerned I looked.
"I-uh, d-did... did you see those, those uh, texts?" She stuttered nervously.
She bit her lip and turned her gaze down to the ground.
"Um yes uh, I did. Are you-" She cut me off.
"I..." She paused, a few seconds passing as she thought. Her eyebrows furrowed as she was caught up in thought.
Sadness overtook her face as she looked up at me with a frown.
My heart broke when I saw her tear filled eyes.
"I'm sorry I've got to go" She whispered.
"Wait" I barely managed out, not knowing how to respond.
What should I do?
What should I do?
I'll get Tyler

I'm sorry this chapter is so short and. And it really sucks too. It's like I have the concept of how I want this to go but it's so hard to put in all the little details. Why can't my brain just work with me. Soooo, bare with me as I'm not the best writer lol.
Also I'm already so bad at updating sorry lol. But over 200 views already!!? (I originally said over 100 views but then somehow my story has gotten to 200 views in that short span of time?!) Thank you so much!
