Emily's POV

Something itched at the back of my mind that I couldn't quite put my finger on.

My eyes felt heavy, full of sleep, yet something pushed me to open them.

The first thing I saw as my eyes fluttered open was a blurry image striking my face. I found myself blinking a few times to clear the picture and soon was met by darkness. I turned around in my bed lazily, glancing at the bedside clock to read the time 3:04am

I extended my arm, clicking my bedside light on before blinking furiously to adjust to it before turning back around to find Logan, but I was met with nothing.

Panic flooded me and I found my heart rate increase as I jumped out of bed and walked around the house to find him.

Where did he go? I asked myself when I saw no sign of him.

I placed my hand on my forehead to think of every possible thing that could have happened, leaving out the worst. That was until my mind scanned through every possible location he could be in as I fished out my phone, dialing his number.

My hands trembled on the call button before something struck me and in an instant I stopped, and froze in my spot.

I dropped my phone back on the bed and grabbed onto my jacket before pulling on my shoes and rushing out the door of my house towards the stairs. I dashed upstairs until I reached the door of the rooftop. I glanced at the door briefly before my hand gripped the knob and slowly pushed it open.

Relief flooded me completely as I looked at the sight ahead of me.

Logan sat silently on the ledge of the rooftop, still in his night wear with his back against the brick post, his eyes focused on the view ahead of him.

I stood silent, observing him silently from the door for a few minutes before I decided to step in.

"Next time at least leave me a note before you have me panic like a maniac" I commented, catching his attention. He smiled at me and extended his hand for me without giving me a reply.

I gladly put my hand into his and accepted it when he pulled me close to him.

"What are you doing here at three o'clock in the morning Logan?" I whispered to him, enjoying the cool breeze strike my face.

"Sit with me" he simply said, moving his legs to make space for me. Complying with his requests, I sat myself up on the ledge next to him, joining him in admiring the beauty of Spain ahead of us.

"Do you remember that day in the elevator when you walked in and saw me for the first time?" he asked, his eyes never leaving the view. I chuckled at the thought, returning my gaze to the view after a quick peek of him.

"I remember. I panicked and walked out so quickly when I arrived my floor. Of course, at the time I didn't know you were my boss, or a criminal, but I was still attracted to you" I commented, smiling at the memory.

"Did you find me attractive when I kidnapped you?" he asked.

"No way! I hated you for that. Besides, I'm not a fan of Stockholm syndrome. In fact I absolutely detested you until the day that I had walked into your office with Draco pointing a gun to my back. You promised me you would come for me, and you did. That's the day I started believing in you" I commented, looking back at him. His eyes left the view and met mine; his hand grasped my own into his hand.

"I always liked you, from the very first time I met you. Even when I had kidnapped you, I just wanted to...have you."

"Ah, love at first sight eh?" I teased, causing him to chuckle a little.
