The night was falling, meaning I had little time to spend with Alpha Archer. We sat comfortably in a booth which was in a diner, the mood was set and all we needed was the lines. I wanted answers to my questions and seemed willing to answer them, we had ordered our food and all we were going to do was talk and eat. We both needed this.

"So, uh how's training?" I asked, twiddling my thumbs in my lap as his intense gaze settled on me. He shrugged and leant back in his seat, his eyes never leaving mine and breathed in and out. "Intense. A lot of weightlifting, sparring and using my senses to help me beat my opponents. The warriors here are tough, like really tough and it's a training that I've never done before." he answered, giving me a small smirk as I took it all in.

"What about therapy? What do you guys talk about?" I said, the nerves in my body crawling it' way up under his stare. My skin felt hot as his eyes travelled everywhere, even though it made me feel queasy, I couldn't help but feel a little bit of pleasure as his heated stare turned darker, he could smell it

"Everything. Most details, but I accidentally freaked out and hurt him. Don't worry, I didn't hurt him, much." his lips pulling into a smirk as I watched his nostrils flare out, sniffing the scent I created, although it was small, Alpha's could detect even the smallest scent. I shuddered involuntarily, his gaze too much on me and I looked away, embarrassed at my inability to control myself.

"Uh, cool. Glad he's okay?" it came out more as a question, it felt weird to be under his gaze and I repeatedly slapped myself in the head for being so stupid and vulnerable. I wish Crescent was here, she'd slap some sense into me. My cheeks burned from being so red and I prayed to the Moon Goddess to give me strength and the food to be ready already. I crossed my right leg over my left leg, hoping that will stop the smell from coming out of me, but unfortunately, it didn't and he knew my reaction causing another bloody smirk to arise in his mouth.

"Your family misses you," I mumbled out, eyes looking anywhere but his. I heard his chuckle causing my cheeks and my whole body to burst into flames and all I wanted to do was dig myself a hole and stay there until he leaves. "Something wrong Irene?" dammit, and I thought it couldn't get any worse. My name coming from his mouth sent shivers down my entire body and what was meant to cover up seemed to be more prominent. Shit.

He was not making this easy for me and he knew it. Son of an Alpha.

"Of-of course not. Pfft. Nothing is wrong. Nothing. I'm fine, yeah I'm fine." I stuttered out, adding to my misery as his smirk or grin widened a fraction, he just loved my reactions and teasing me. I hated it. I heard him hum in response and his fingers drumming on the table, leaning a little bit closer to me, taunting me to go on as his body came forward, covering half of the table.

"You don't seem alright. You sure?" he whispered out and my body betrayed me as a gave a breathy moan, my hormones going into a frenzy as his sultry voice came in my ears. Fuck you body. I heard him growl slightly and I muttered a hundred profanities under my breath as I knew my hormones were practically leaking slowly into the air and I knew some nearby wolves could smell it. This is going great. Mind my sarcasm.

Archer Alpha was still smirking and leaning on the table, almost grinning at my smell, his eyes darkening slightly, even though he couldn't see, he could smell everything, all the way down to my nervousness. He was just about to say something until the waitress disturbed us.

"Here's your food, thanks for dining with us," she said, her face reddening in embarrassment as she sniffed the air slightly and glanced down at me. My face reddened once more and all I wanted to do was die right there and then. This is so embarrassing. And just as fast as she came here, she left instantly, her hormones in the air sensing embarrassment as she fled. I breathed in and out heavily, regaining my breath as I shot a glare towards Alpha Archer. Sensing my annoyance he backed down and grabbed his plate, the smirk still painted on his lips as he started to eat his food slowly, making me grab my plate and doing the same.

One bite of the food as I literally had a foodgasm.

I moaned out in delight and heard a growl coming from Alpha Archer and I ignored it, loving how succulent the meat was and the french fries. If this was heaven, I wanted to stay here. It was so damn delicious. "It's so good!" I groaned out, taking more and more bites until the next few minutes when my steak was already half the size when it arrived. A satisfied hum reached my ears and I smiled slightly. "Told you," he breathed out as his fork and spoon clanked on the plate as we ate in silence once again.

"This was nice. I mean the food was delicious and we had a nice chat." I commented as we made our way towards the building we came from. The whole pack was alight with fairy lights and the lake shone in the moonlight, beautiful was my first thought as we walked down a makeshift path. "Yes, yes it is," he responded whilst we walked slowly. I smiled at the scene. I looked up towards him, I realised I was growing as was a few inches off from his height, his jawline shining in the moonlight as I casually stared at him. He was beautiful.

"Stop staring Irene or else," he replied, startling me and breaking my daze. My cheeks burned and turned my face to look straight. He just caught my staring, but I won't admit it, I might just die if I do. I was in my own trance before I realised I hand slipped into mine, sending sparks up my arm, creating goosebumps. It was warm, rough and possibly even comforting. I didn't speak up, I knew it was Alpha Archer, it felt so nice to finally have this moment. Amazing even. I really loved how comfortable we with each other at this point in time. I just wished it could stay like this forever, but of course forever isn't a thing and it would have to end at some time.
