"Yes and they gave me all those books for free, just because they thought that I was pretty." I told Alec who was sitting on a sofa, in front of me and next to Jane.

"And you should have seen their face when they saw Ann. They literally couldn't talk. I didn't know humans were this pathetic." Jane added.

"Don't forget, we were humans, once too." Alec said. That definitely shut her up.

After me and Jane came back from shopping, we were sitting in my room and talking. And then Alec joined us and asked about our day. So this is where the conversation went.

"Hey Annalisa, master was calling you and the twins." There was a timid voice outside my door.

"We're going right now. Thanks Renata." I called out to her.

"No problem." Was her only reply. Me and Renata don't talk much. But when we do, she's really polite.

I silently got out of my room and walked towards the castle turret. I could hear Alec and Jane's footsteps so I knew they were following me.

What happened now? Was it an order to destroy another coven just because they had members with exceptional talent?

But I had to prove myself so I decided I would my best. When I was new, it was hard getting my ranks up. But I did it anyways and now I was one of the strongest in the guard.

"Master." I bowed.

"Hello Annalisa, Jane, Alec." Aro said in his singsong voice. "Do remember the small nomadic coven I was talking about in Britain? The leader is creating too much of hassle and is creating too many newborns. So please go destroy them." He continued.

I don't know, it was Chelsea using her power on me or my desire of proving myself, I always want to obey Aro, Caius and Marcus.

"We will." Jane replied.

"I know. That's why I'm trusting you, my dear Jane." Aro said.

And while we were walking away he also said,

"Bring the person named Eli, I heard that he has some ability that is very powerful."

------------------------------

"Kill yourself."

"Die."

"Jump in the fire."

"Fight each other."

I walked around giving orders to the vampires that tried to fight me. And in no time at all, the whole place, where the nomadic coven used to stay was covered with ashes of our enemies. All of them were dead except the guy Eli who was said to be powerful.

As I stared at his petrified face, which was Alec's doing, I concluded that he looked pretty normal. As normal as a vampire can get.

"Come with us." I commanded.

So as we ran towards our destination he followed us. I kind of felt pity for him. He just lost his mate and other coven members and now because of his power he will be joining his enemies. He didn't actually have a choice, with my power he has to follow us, and with Chelsea's power he'll be loyal to us.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" That vampire asked. How can he talk? He was in the grasp of my power.

"Go ahead." I prompted.

"Where are you taking me?" He sounded as if he was begging for information.

"I'm so sorry, I can't tell you. . .Eli." I felt bad for him but that was part of my job.

He shut up and followed us. So if he was able to defy my power then why isn't he running away? There were so many questions in my mind, but I had no answers to them.

After we reached Volterra, we directly went towards the castle turret. Aro was sitting in the centre taking to Caius, Marcus was nowhere to be seen.

"Master." Me, Jane and Alec bowed, with Eli just watching from behind. Aro beckoned me forward and took my hand, and read my thoughts.

"Good, very good. I knew you all could do this." He sighed happily.I was overjoyed because I got a praise. Now I didn't mind all the killing I did.

"Now. . . My friend Eli would you come here?" He asked as if it was a question but I knew Eli had no choice. Maybe he knew it too, so he surged forward.

Aro took Eli's hand too and everybody was silent for a moment. But then he said,

"Oh! So you were the one who was planning the rebellion?"

"Yes, I did and I'll do it again." He said confidently.

"Oh no, you won't. . . Come here." He beckoned him forward.

And when Eli come towards him, Aro pulled tore his head and asked Renata, who was standing behind him, to burn Eli.

"You can go if you want to." He continued as if nothing happened.

So this is how a day ends in the Volturi. By someone dying, it doesn't matter if it is a human or vampire.

Maybe I was going to end up like that too. So I should ensure that the possibility of it happening was next to impossible. That's why I just kept my face expressionless and walked away.
