"Guys, are yall gonna get along or not?" Kimberly asked the striking gentlemen's that was on fire for her.

The two men have looked at each other and shrugs. "I absolutely not."

"Well you guys better get it together. Because the two of you besides my father, Monica, and my mom are very important in my life."

The rest of the day was spent by them interacting with each other like gentlemen for her sake.

-------

Helena threw her slender body to the mattress and sobbed her heart out. Her own father detested her because of her careless acts and now his good name is hanging by a thread. Her mother plotting ways to protect their family names despite Helena mishaps.

The hardest thing I've ever done. I denied the father of my child and claimed another.

She closed her eyes to searched for sleep. But she couldn't her thoughts kept her awake as remembered what she has done. What she once had. She remembered it all.

° Flashback °

Helena disliked the wealth of her father because it isolated her from communicated with those that weren't as fortunate as her. Wherever Helena went she was circled by guards who were well trained, ready to put their life on the line just for her. She hated all of it nor did she ever asked to be born into a royal family. And she knew she could take back her life nor could she change the family that raised her.

But she knew how to make her life feel a little normal. With the help of her bodyguards, she made a deal with them if they could allow her to live her teenagers years as a normal one would and not as the princess of Greece she would speak kindly about them to her father.

Whenever she was through with school. She would change into more casual clothes instead of her uniforms from the private school she attended.

Thankful she was around the age as her housekeeper daughter, India. She borrowed India's clothes every now and then thanks her favorite housekeeper, Diane. This helped her keep her identity hidden as she went to non-luxuries neighborhood. One night she came across a flyer that promoted a party from ages 18 and up. She decided to go and see what it was all about but before going she disguised herself as a regular teen.

With an oversized hoodie, denim jean, and a white tee completed with a brown laced frontal wig to hide away her golden hair. And anything else that screamed royalty. Becuase all she ever wanted was to feel normal and she'd found that and more with Alec Hermes. They first met at a local party for the middle class. She would give anything to be like them.

"Danced with me." she asked.

He eyed the petite brunette and smirked. "Are you sure about that?" He has never seen her around before but something about her challenged him.

She sways her neck and batted her lashes. "Very."

He then pulled her closer and they danced to the rhythm. That dance alone lured them into a world of no return. Alec and Helena's love blossomed more and more for months but it felt like a lifetime whenever they spend time together. The little things and the big thing made their love unbelievably powerful. Their bond was so strong that even cupid the matchmaker of love would've been hugely pleased.

He was no saint but sharing their first time together was more than she could ever imagine. More than she'd hoped for. Their closeness made her feel alive. And she knew she would remember it for all eternity.

"What's so special about me?" he asked as they lay together as one flesh.

After she had given herself away she also told him who she really was, the Princess of Greece. A side of her was afraid of what he could do with that pieces of information another side of her didn't care because she loved him.

"Everything." She looked at him deeply and touched his cheek and felt stubble of his facial hair. Rested her fingers at his mere dimple. Who knew a commoner and a princess could be so passionate about one another. "The gods above knew how much I needed you."

He roughly ran a hand through his hair and looked at her. Alec didn't know what she said was true. Did she simply say it because they'd shared a night together? or was she truly moved by him? He didn't know. He didn't know rather or not he should believe her.

At the age of nineteen, the young heartthrob had his share of heartbreaks. He may be young but he has been through it all. Yes, males such like himself also do fall as victims of heartaches. The last thing he needed was for another girl to put a dagger straight to his heart.

I believe her.

The more he said it the more he was convinced. He cupped her face and close his eyes. Avoiding to witness the risk he was about to put his heart through once again. "I needed you too."

° End Flashback °

--------

Helena locked herself to her room for hours and hours. She felt her body weaken. She'd forgotten that her body didn't just belong to her. It now also belonged to the life that grew inside of her as well. The life that had a piece of hers and his. And she vowed to nourish and protect it all times.

With the strength that remained in her body, she pressed the emergency button and buzzed one of the housekeepers when the member of the household is far from reach. Diane finally came to the rescue and answer the call.

"Yes, Ms. Martakis?" Diane's voice echoed through the intercom.

Helena barely had the will to speak and when she did it was a whisper. "Can you fix me a plate, Diane?"

"Of course." she replied.

Soon after Diane knocked slowly with Helena's meal in hand. She unlocked the door and thanked her for her hospitality. For the sake of the baby, she forced herself to eat. As she was half through with her meal. Her guilt came back like a hurricane. She cried until she could no more. Helena sniffles. "It's all my fault.

Her dreams were shattered all because of her. She had denied him the day he'd tried to save her from wedding into a loveless marriage. And now she has revoked his right as the father of her child by utterly complete lies.

She wept once more. "I did this."

Because she'd decided to claim a man that did not belong to her as the father of her unborn child. The same man, her lover, Alec had tried to prevent her from making the biggest mistake of her life by being wed to the prime minister's son, Dimitrius Vlaxos.

And when it was time to fight for their love as he did. Helena chose the easy way. She chose to stand far away from the sun instead of admiring it with him.

At the time it seemed as if she had chosen well but the look on his face truthfully showed that she had robbed any chance they could've had for true happiness. And she was punished harshly for not standing beside him. That look, that devastating look that was imprinted on his marvelous face haunted her for many years to come.

She wipes her tears away.

"I ruined him."
