Chapter 30

Niall's P.O.V

The sound of water dripping down woke me up in the morning. Was it raining? I furrowed my eyebrows and rolled to the side.

"BOOOM" Ouch. I rubbed my eyes and stood up, I'd fell off the bed. I looked around the room. It wasn't raining, someone was taking a shower and since Sophie isn't in the bed it mut be her. I ran a hand through my messy hair and headed towards the kitchen, I was starving.

"Oh Niall, you're up!" My mum hugged me, I hadn't noticed her.

"Mornin' mum, didn't see ya!" I scratched the back of my head and looked inside the fridge. I started making myself a sandwich.

"Is Sophie still asleep?" She sat down by the kitchen table with a cup of tea.

"Er..no, she's in the bathroom. I think she's taking a shower." I sat down on the other side of the table with my sandwich.

"Oh." She took a sip of her tea. "She's amazing Niall, well done." She reavhed across the table and laid her hand on mine. I looked at her, her mouth pulled up in a big, warm smile. 

"I'm glad you like her mum." I said with a smile.

"Like her? I love her Niall! My baby, you've finally found the right girl." She exclaimed. I chuckled and squeezed her hand, she always knew how to make me smile. I realised how much I've actually missed her, it's been months since I saw her.

"She was nervous, she thought you wouldn't approve of her. But she loves all of you, she wouldn't stop talking about you last night mum. She said she's found a new shopping buddy." I rolled my eyes, Sophie's obsessedwith clothes.

"Indeed she has." My mum's face lit up. "But how could she even think something like that, she's incredible. Every mother's dream! And it doesn't matter what I think, as long as you're happy I'm happy. That's all that matters." She started tearing up.

"Oh no mum, please don't!" We both stood up and I pulled her in for a hug. "It's alright mum, don't cry." I rubbed her back.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy for you two. But don't you dare run off and get married." She wiggled her finger at me and furrowed her eyeebrows. I chuckled and hugger her again.

"I promise, we won't mum!" We both started laughing.

"Aw, you two are the cutest thing ever!" I jumped at the voice, my mum let go of me and quickly went to hug Sophie who was standing in the door with soaking wet hair.

"SOPHIE." My mum sobbed. Sophie gave me a confused but worried look. I just smiled at her.

"What has he done to you Maura?" Sophie giggled.

"Oh nothing, I'm just being silly!" She wiped away a few tears as she let go of Sophie. She just stood there and watched me and Sophie.

"Good morning sunshine." I pulled Sophie in for a tight hug.

"Mornin' handsome." She giggled. I kissed her forehead before she pulled away from my embrace. I put my arm around her waist as she stood next to me.

"Oh stop it you two, you're making me cry again!" My mum cried out as she threw her arms around us and pulled us both in for a hug.

"How is Ireland then?" Liam said.

"I love it, it's incredible! And the accents...oh my god." We all laughed as Sophie started to blush. We were skyping with the boys before they all went home for a couple of days.
