Round Four was currently in action, and as I snuggled up to my oversized pillow with my face shoved into a Nicolas Sparks book, the digital numbers of the clock shifted to 12:03AM.

Obnoxious yelling and whooping carried up the vents from all areas of downstairs causing me to sigh. The party had started nearly two and a half hours ago and I'd been on edge the whole time.

Using my pointer finger to push up the rim of my thick glasses, my book dropped from my hand and fell to the floor as a surprised gasp flew from my chapped lips. Seconds before, a staggering couple had burst through my door, their lips attached hungrily as each pair of hands groped each others body.

Shrinking into my pillows, I watched as the pair moved towards the bed obviously not noticing me as they fell to the sheets. When the boy's head came in contact with my foot, they immediately stopped as their heads snapped up to face me.

Apologizing immediately, the girl sat back, falling to her butt while she still straddled the boy's thighs. When a giggle escaped her lips, I groaned, figuring it would be really difficult to get a lusting pair of teens out of my bed and even further— out of my room.

"Uh, Cal's r-room is down the hall," I whispered, standing to my feet as I noticed my fallen book had closed completely, my place in the book lost.

When the girl seemed to space out, I turned to connect eyes with the boy as his filmy orbs clouded by intoxication made me shiver. Alcohol was a nasty thing, allowing you to be oblivious to the world around you for a few hours, yet making you face the consequences as soon as those minutes were up.

That's why I stayed clear of it.

Plus, everyone in my household drank. Especially my father who was probably shitface-drunk with his head against the bar at Gale's pub a few streets up. He was the reason the Rounds had ever existed and the reason they continued because he was never here to keep an eye on anything.

The only thing his eyes found interest in while home was the beer bottle that sat in his hand when he laid across the couch. Staring at the tv while he downed dozens of beers surely didn't help Cal's influence as he had sucked down many beers before he ever hit eighteen.

My attention snapped back to the couple as the two stood from the bed, drunkenly pulling each other from the room.

Easier than I thought...

Grabbing my hardback book from the ground, I placed it on the oak nightstand before I found my bedroom door, ready to close it as the deafening music poured through it. Watching as only a crack kept it from being sealed, a hand stuck its way through the door making it fly right back open.

My eyes widened and my heart stopped at the three in front of me.

"What happened? You didn't wanna leave the cave this time?" Jennifer chuckled loudly as the alcohol seemed to consume her brain.

"P-please turn the camera off." I cleared my throat, looking at the phone in Desiree's hand that captured what I'm sure was going to be another one of my nightmares.

"We're just going to make a small film," Adam smirked, following me as I backed around the bed to move away from the trio.

With very shallow breathing, I tried making it across the bed, away from Adam and to the open door but it was no use as his long arms reached and grabbed my ankles. No time was wasted as he began dragging me back with the new grip on my wrists.

My shriek of panic was covered by both Jennifer and Desiree's drunken giggles. The two doubled over laughing as I tried smacking Adam's grabby hands away from me, but Jennifer was quick to smack Desiree across the arm.

"Hold the camera straight asshole, I'm not missing any of this." She hissed.

Tears now rolled down my cheeks as Adam pinned me beneath his weight, his hands finding the buttons on my shirt. Button by button my shirt unraveled, meeting the floor along with my pajama shorts.

Striding up to the side of the bed, Jennifer took the opportunity to talk while Adam removed his own shirt. "Where's Bubby now, Talia?" She smirked as Adam's greedy lips met my collar bone. I had to bite my bottom lip hard to stop a squeal of disgust from exiting my mouth. That proved fruitful until I felt the wetness of his tongue.

"Cal's not always going to be here and its time you learned that little lesson," she gave one more sick chuckle before she left Adam to hover over me. Using the little strength I had left, I pushed at his shoulders, crying louder when he didn't budge.
