Chapter 17: Unrivaled Fury

Tema remained in place as his once best friend had simply vanished after saving him from Lancelot. Sheena covered her eyes and began to cry to which Alise went over to comfort her in her time of need. Tema hung his head while Lancelot was slightly bewildered "well...that was odd. I never thought that the huntsman would save your life...how foolish"

 Tema remained still "jeez this world is full of idiots" he walked to Zophia "what do you see in this brat? To think you defected from the knights just to help this guy?" Tema's hand's clenched "What was the point of that?" Zophia noticed something behind Lancelot "that's huntsman was a complete and utter weak fool. All he did was delay the inevitable...the boy is still going to die...all he did was throw away his stupid life"

Alise too noticed something with Tema as she tapped on Sheena who saw it as well "Lancelot" said Zophia gravely "you've entered the place of no return. If you say anymore...you'll regret it"

"oh what are you going to do about it?" said Lancelot

"I'm not...he is" Lancelot turned round and witnessed what they saw.

Tema's body was being covered in blue sparks "how dare you...Lancelot" he looked at him with fiery eyes which made Lancelot tremble "he was my friend Lancelot" Tema stood up "He was my FRIEND" the sparks intensified greatly so they almost looked electric "and you dare mock him...I'll...make you pay" Sheena was watching him

"what is happening to him?" said Sheena

"is it the burst mode ability?" asked Alise

"no...this is different. Burst mode is represented by a golden aura...wait...look above his head" the words assist boost appeared "hey...that's the ability you gave him from the first trial. But the title is glowing which means...it's changing"

Tema managed to stand as the blue sparks continued to surged "Lancelot..." he clenched his hands "you'll regret what you did" Lancelot looked unimpressed

"oh so what" he ran forward "and what are you going to do about it?" he then swung a fist but Tema caught it with ease. Lancelot looked surprised but didn't have time to react as Tema punched his gut with his free hand. Lancelot was sent backward along the floor as he stood.

At first Lancelot looked unharmed but then the spot where Tema had punched cracked and broke off showing a black shirt underneath. Lancelot then clutched the hole "that was...one punch and yet...even through my armour...I felt it" he looked at Tema who looked angrily at him "I think...I just freed the anger within" Zophia looked on

"I can feel it" said Zophia as she looked at her hand trembling "the fury of his anger" Tema clenched his hands

"Lancelot" said Tema "if you want a fight...you're going to get ONE!!" as he cried out a red surging aura rose up from his feet all over his body.

The very force of the aura was forcing everyone to shield themselves as the aura blow gusts of wind that even pushed Lancelot back. Then it settled down. The girls uncovered themselves and saw Tema. The red aura continued to rapidly surge upwards followed randomly by blue sparks. Alise looked on "just...look at him. He feels so...powerful" Sheena saw the words Assist burst glowed brightly before then replaced by a new word

"assist burst had changed to...Raging Burst"

Sheena quickly brought up a menu and scanned for the ability "Raging burst. When an ally is damaged, rage will continue to build. After reaching a limit the user will unleash all his fury...until it runs out" Lancelot looked happy
