Chapter 27

I walked in awkwardly into Derek's lounge.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"Uh.." I cleared my throat, "can I say here tonight?"
"Uh, sure--"
"But there is one thing." I said, "I... I've been having these sort of night terrors. A-and I can't sleep during them." Erica walked out of the subway train Derek had ran randomly in his lounge.
"Hello again." She said.
"Hi." I said,
"Where's Isaac?" Derek asked.
"He would be here any minute now--" a growl came from behind Derek. Isaac attempted to pounced on Derek, but Derek grabbed him and threw him to the side.
"Huh." I said, "Can I try?" Erica laughed.
"Are you a werewolf?" She asked.
"Nope." I said.
"I don't think you can out smart Derek. If we couldn't-" she indicated to Isaac and herself, "then you can't."
"Well I am a vampire so.." I said, "I can easily rip his heart out or snap his neck in a split second.. but I won't do that. Don't worry, I've killed enough people."
