AnaBella
I kept waiting for Mandi to call me back, but she never did. Why was she ignoring
my calls? There was no way that she was still out with Dillon since it was ten
o’clock. My phone went off, but it wasn’t Mandi. Instead, it was a text message
from Josh:
Hey, are you still awake? @Josh@
Of course I am still awake; Mandi hasn’t called me back yet <3Love<3
Calm down, she’s probably sleeping and will call you in the morning. Speaking
of sleeping, isn’t that what you should be doing? @Josh@
Fine, goodnight <3Lov3<3
Night, love you @Josh@
Love you too <3Love<3
I laid down and tried to sleep, and, surprisingly, I succeeded.
Mandi
When I woke up the next morning I noticed that I had about ten or more missed
calls from AnaBella. Great, I thought, she’s probably freaking out. I dialed her
number and got an answer only after about one and half rings.
“Oh, my gosh, it’s about gosh dang time that you called me back,” AnaBella
squealed into the phone.
“Dude, calm down,” I told her. “I promise you that I am alive.”
“How was I supposed to know that since you never called me,” AnaBella said.
I could only imagine that she was pouting on the other end.
“You should have known that I wasn’t dead,” I replied. “Why would you even
think that I was?”
“Oh, never mind that; how was your date,” she practically shrieked into the phone.
“It was pretty awesome,” I admitted.
“What’d you two do,” she asked.
“Oh, um, we went to the park and talked,” I told her reluctantly. I didn’t want her
to freak out cause Dillon hadn’t taken me to dinner.
“That’s all,” she asked incredulously.
“Yeah, I enjoyed it so please promise me that you won’t go all wacko-crayzo on Dillon,” I scolded her.
“Why would I do such a think,” she asked innocently.
“Probably because while the date he took me on was perfect for me, you wouldn’t
exactly give it the name of a ‘date’.”
“I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about,” she
said.
“Wow,” I told her.
“Anyways, you can explain all that later. For now, what are you doing today?”
