Autumn's Destiny

I woke up to the bright sun shining in my eyes, I looked around the den and all apprentices were gone Where did they go? I stretched and walked out to see mostly everybody gone Where are they? I walked up to Waterfish talking to Foamleap "Where is everybody?" I asked and he turned to me "It's already Sunhigh!" I slept till Sunhigh? "What?!" I yelled "Why did you let me sleep so long?!" Waterfish laughed "We tried and you were still asleep!" It was a busy a night....but I can't tell them that.."Oh, I just had a hard time sleeping last night...that's all.." I said and Foamleap gave me a concerned look "Oh, Cherrypool could of gave you something." What good would that do? "I'm fine." I snapped and facing my mentor "So are we training?" Waterfish looked puzzled and whispered something to Foamleap "Why did Mintstar give me the grumpy apprentice?" I heard him whisper and Foamleap shrugged as Waterfish stood up and walked towards the entrance of camp flicking his tail as a goodbye to his mate.

We walked to the river and Waterfish sat next to the water and looked at me and said "Your the master." I licked my chest fur in embarrassment and sat next to him and stared at the glistening water waiting for a fish. Not soon after I sat down I saw a small trout swim towards me I held my breath as it came closer, I stuck my paw under the water and felt the cold water as the fish escaped "Mousedung! I missed!" I said and splashed water in frustration, I felt Waterfish's tail on my back "Don't worry, it was small, and I bet you will catch more as the day goes on." He said reassuringly but I shrugged I'm suppose to be the best! And he just acts like loosing a fish is nothing? "But it's almost leaf-bare! We need to be fit and strong and be able to fight off any cat who dares to enter our territory!" I hissed at him pushing off his tail and stomped off into the sandy territory.

I ran through the territory until I heard voices, Voices full of violence and fear. I snuck into a bush and saw something I wish I had never seen "F-Fogwhisker s-stop!" I heard Wavepaw beg to him as he to towered over her, Fogwhisker scratched her cheek and hissed "Give me what I want then!" He growled when Wavepaw struggled underneath him "No Fogwhisker! Enough is enough!" She hissed freeing her arms and started slashing at Fogwhisker's face with her front paws and e screamed in pain and backed off of her and she got up and ran away. I gotout of my hiding spot and went to follow her ignoring Fogwhisker's mad yowls.

   She stopped at the river and looked down at it and started to whisper to herself, I slowly approached her and sat down next other and looked back at her "Are you ok?" I asked and she jumped when she heard my voice"W-what!" She squeaked almost flying into the river, She stabilized herself and asked me "How did you know I was here?!" I sat there thinking I can't tell her I saw her...that could be personal! But it's serious issue, What did Fogwhisker want from her anyways? "I saw you running and I went to see what was wrong and..." I trailed off and she sighed and gave me a serious glance serious look "How much did you see." She said almost in a pained voice, I flinched at how pained she looked "When you started to ask him to stop when he was standing over you..." I said looking at her despite her not meeting my gaze "I see..." She shifted uncomfortably and changed the subject,

"Where's Waerfish? Aren't you suppose to be with him?" I looks away when she asked that but I simply responded not wanting to lie to my denmate "I got mad because I didn't catch a fish and he tried to help me but I refused and left him and encountered you." She looked at me funny "What?" I asked glaring at her, she started to laugh and started to roll around "What's so funny?!" I asked louder this time and she answered "Y-You left *laugh* Waterfish because y-you *giggle* didn't catch a fish?!" She started to take deep breaths and finally stopped laughing, I gave her a blank stre "Really?" I said in a annoyed voice and she started to smile "Oh Cloudpaw, you are the funniest cat." She said in a warm voice and stood up and turned "Let's get back to camp now." I smiled and followed her through Oceanclan territory.

Sorry for not posting for awhile, My grandfather died a few days ago which made me delay in posting another chapter. I miss him yes, but he suffered and now he is in a better place.... Anyways, let's stop with the sad stuff and get on with book.
