Cloudpaw woke up from something prodding his side and rolled over in protest "Wake up sleepy head! You can't laze the day away now can you? We are hunting today!" Waterfish said with joy in his voice, my head popped up and I stood up and ran towards the entrance of camp "What are you waiting for?" I asked playfully, Waterfish chuckled and walked out of camp

"You need to be patient Cloudpaw and do it in one swift movement." Waterfish said, I looked down into the river in front of me, I stayed as still as I could and in a swift movement I felt flesh underneath my claws, I lifted what was underneath my claws and I heard my mentor gasp in awe as he looked at my catch "T-Thats gigantic! This could feed a whole queen and her kits!" I puffed out my chest "Thank you!" I placed the fish next to me "Can I catch more?" I asked hoping that I can impress Mintstar "Why not? And I shall hunt with you." Waterfish sat a few tail lengths away not wanting to disturb me, so I sat looking at the river below waiting for my prey.

As we walked back to camp with my fish, but I was surprised that Waterfish didn't catch any, But thats more praise for me and I smiled at the thought, We walked into camp and I saw Wavepaw run up to me "Did you catch those?" she asked with curiosity in her eyes "Yes! I did!" I said proudly puffing out my chest, As I was turning to put my catches in the prey pile I saw my father walking towards me "Nice catches!" He praised "Thanks! But how did you know? I just got back and didn't tell anyone but Wavepaw!" I asked "Oh you you're catches news have spread around camp like greencough!" We laughed "I know my son will be the best hunter in Oceanclan!"

 I walked into camp and settled in a sunny spot Leaf-fall is so pretty....Did Starclan make it this way? If they did, they got some great skills! I laughed to myself at my thoughts but were cut off when I heard a yowl "Mintstar! Shellpaw was attacked by a fox!" I stood up almost immediately "What?!" and I ran towards Reedclaw with fear in his eyes "Is she ok?" I asked with fear rising in my voice "I don't know, she badly injured.." Reedclaw said with a frown. I saw Fogwhisker carrying Shellpaw with Wavepaw close behind with pure fear in her eyes with Shellwing running towards them with a bunch of herbs in her mouth "Bring her to my den!" Shellwing said with panic and Fogwhisker jogged towards Shellwing's den "What happened?" I asked running up to Wavepaw, She looked at me with sadness with a mixture of fear in her eyes "Can I tell your later?" She asked sadly, I nodded "Of course..." I answered as she walked towards the medicine cat den with her tail low, I sighed I hope Shellpaw will be alright...

I entered the Apprentice's den when I was stopped by Waterfish "No Cloudpaw, It's time for your...Apprentice duties." Waterfish said with a dark voice when he said "Apprentice duties" "Aww Ok...What am I doing?" I asked a bit disappointed "Well you can clean out the elder's den. Lightningpaw and Thunderpaw will help you, SO it won't be sooooo bad! I didn't have anyone to help me when I was a Apprentice!" Waterfish laughed and I laughed as well "Alright. You convinced me." I said walking out of the den with a playful tail flick.

I walked into the Elder's den with a large thing of moss in my mouth "Last one!" I said spitting out the moss and checking for thorns "Thank you Cloudpaw, I'm sorry your littermates didn't help." Salmonstone said with a grin and settled down "Oh it's fine! They were probably doing something important." I said just about to walk out the den picking up the old moss "Would you like to hear a story?" Splashshine asked while Troutwing grunted "Oh sure! Lemme bury this!" I said running out of the den burying the moss running back to the elder's den "Ok I'm here!" I said out of breath

"When I was young Apprentice when Mintstar wasn't born, There was a war. Between all the clans. We fought harshly, It was life or death." Splashshine said while Salmonstone turned over and showed a large scar on her back "Woah...That must of hurt.." I said cringing "It did. I fought-" Salmon was cut off by Splashshine "Let me continue!" Splashshine yowled and the den went silent "Good. One of my littermates died that day.." Splashshine said with her eyes watering up but shook her head "Anyways Oceanclan and Snowclan teamed up to take down Darkclan and Sunclan. Once Darkclan turned from war we still had Sunclan. Sunclan was the hardest one I have to say, Maybe cause that cursed Leafstar killed him, I don't know but my mate was killed savagely. By the end of the war Sunclan take a little out of each territory. We starved that Leaf-bare and so did Snowclan, so once again we teamed up and shared hunting grounds. I will NEVER forgive Sunclan and neither will Oceanclan.....Sunclan is our main enemy...When you go to the gathering soon, Do NOT go towards Sunclan. Ok?" Splashshine said sternly "I-I promise Splashshine! I won't let you down!" I said "Good, Now go get some food, You must be hungry!" Splashshine laughed and I nodded and exited the den.
