Autumn's Destiny

I stared out blankly into the outside world feeling the urge to run free in the fields and forests but the same thought kept coming "Why am I all of the sudden so...uncomfortable in here?" or do I "I feel like a caged bird!" but she never got her answer. I tried to go to sleep to see Speckledpool but she didn't so she tried opening the window. To my surprise it cracked so I tried to push but she would get caught....she would have to wait till tonight.

I tried to think of the world outside her window and what it would be like, it didn't help. Bored she went to her littermates and they stopped in surprise as I approached them and I ask "Can I play?" as confident as I could and it worked! "What game are we playing?" I asked cheerfully, Tiger lily and Sander exchanged glances and Sander said "We are playing tackle-" Tiger lily cut him off as she said "You are the Tackled!" she said with a grin "Ok!" I said without a thought and they chased me so I screamed "Ah! They are going to get me!" while Tiger lily and Sander were chasing me "I'm going to get you!" Tiger lily exclaimed with a joyful howl and all of a sudden something hops on my back and I try to turn and I see Sander over me "Ah! They are going to eat me alive!" I screamed "Rawr!" Sander replied and patted my face "Get her! Muhahhaaha!" Tiger lily laughed until Lily appeared and said "Ok now now I think it is time we get some rest." she glanced at the dark sky through the window "awwww!" we said in sync.

"Come on" Lily said softly and pushed us gently with her tail to our beds and while everybody was sleeping I stayed up waiting for my chance. After a while the Humans came home and when they headed to their room I snuck to the window and pushed "Ugh! This is heavy!" I said to myself and after what felt like a eternity it opened enough that I could squeeze through and I was half way out when I looked back and my heart ached that I was leaving my family that really cared for me....I turned and jumped with tears in my eyes and ran to the woods. I didn't know where I was going or how I was going to end up there's no turning back.

As I was getting deeper into the forest I was starting to get over whelmed by the scents and I started to get dizzy so I was starting to take small steps and I look and I see a hollow looking thing in a tree and so I started to walk there and my feet slipped into something and I started to fall and landed in a hole, I looked up and tried to climb, It was useless! The dirt kept slipping underneath my paws. After awhile I started to give up and started to wail like a little kit hopeing someone would come to save me and when the sun was starting to rise I heard footsteps and I started to yell "Help! Help!" and I heard the footsteps quicken and I hear a voice ask "Where are you?!" and the voice sounded panicked so I yelled with fear in cause it was a cute male "In here!" I wailed frantically and I hear the footsteps come closer and I look up and I see a male cat look down at me hesitant but holds out his paw blushing and I felt my face get hot and I look away putting my paw up so I can get out and he asks me "Are you ok?" With a sheepish smile.
