Autumn's Destiny

I walked towards a dead tree which was hollow inside with a old grey cat standing next to it, which cackled when it saw me and the large tom next to me, I shrunk when I got got closer to him realizing he had foam coming out of his mouth "Is that cat sick?" I asked the large tom as we got to the trunk "Doesn't matter, now get in there." The tom said shoving me into the the hollow part of the trunk leaving me with the sick cat Why hasn't Foxleaf healed this poor cat! This cat looks like it could die any moment now! I thought about asking him but I sat there for awhile until I finally got enough courage to ask"Why hasn't Foxleaf healed you...?" I asked in a small voice and the cat turned and laughed

"To eat young cats like you!"

Eat?! I think I heard that wrong...no I didn't... I didn't know Darkclan was so....dark! "E-Eat..?" I breathed and the grey cat turned to me "Does your clan not do that?" the cat asked "No! I wouldn't know anybody who would eat another cat!" I exclaimed and the cat turned silent then coughed some foam and I backed up "Well I'm not the one to eat you, that's the black one with no tail, I'm just here to make you sick, Which to be honest, I don't want to do but if I don't they will kill me." He rasped coughing more "But aren't you already suffering?" I asked cocking my head "Just go to sleep, its late." he said not answering my question and curled up closing his eyes.

I laid there for awhile afraid the cat would sneak up on me Shadowstar eats cats?! I need to tell Mintstar! Well, if I get out alive.... What if I escape? Buts it's so muddy they will easily figure out, and the entrance will be heavily guarded...but what if I dig my way out! But the cat....I can't leave him here! I don't want to get caught though....What if he doesn't want to leave and he would tell Shadowstar will....eat me... Oh Starclan, what do I do? I laid there on my back hoping I would get a answer but I didn't Fine. Be that way I will figure this out. I stood up and grabbed a stick and poked the sick cat with it and he turned towards me annoyed "What? Can't a old cat get some sleep?!" He grumbled "Have you ever thought of leaving?" I asked him and he stayed silent for awhile but eventually answered with words I thought I would never hear.

"Yes, I was hoping you could help me." He whispered

I stared at him surprised "What...Really?" I whispered back

"Yes, when I saw you *cough* I thought my mission would be easy, Get you sick and give you to Shadowstar to finish you off. But when that mean tom *cough* pushed you, I don't know how and why I saw something in you, Determination (lol) to get here for a purpose, A purpose of revenge. And then I knew you *cough* would help me out of this abuse I have do to and have to deal *cough* with." He said breathing heavily afterwards "Then... where do I take you?" I asked shocked This cat, wants my help. I'm a hero! "To my housefolk. Or to the house atleast." He told me plainly "Well lets get moving!" I told him as I went out of the tree "But please stay a fair distance away?" He nodded and followed me through the muddy territory.

When we left the territory I asked him "Which way?" and he pointed his tail towards a small twolegplace "There." I nodded and we ran towards the twolegplace "What's your name anyways?" I asked through heavy breaths "Shotgun." He responded through a small cough. When we arrived to the twolegplace I looked around "Which one is yours?" I asked turning to him staring at one and he ran towards it "Thank you...Whats your name?" Shotgun said still staring "Cloudpaw." I responded as I looked at his lit up face despite the foam on his mouth "Thank you Cloudpaw! Thank you so much! I will never forget this!" Shotgun yelled as he ran towards a den, I smiled and waited to see if they would take him in, he started scratching at the door and the door opened with a large twoleg who started to tear up and said something and two more appeared, a small one and a large one and brought him in I hope the twolegs don't get sick I thought running back to my territory.

When I reached the border I breathed in the scent I have missed this! I started to run through the territory and entered camp to find everybody still sleeping Praise Starclan! I walked quietly into the Apprentice's den and fell sound asleep.

(Sorry for this chapter being so short! This was kinda rushed so I hope it still satisfies for a little while! And is a cat eating cats a little too weird? And a sick kittypet wanting help and gets taken despite him being very sick? XD I dunno, if you can tell me if it's too weird xD)
