She looked around before resting her arms on the kitchen counter. "Your place looks clean, Jack."

He was about to walk out of the kitchen when Lisa asked so he stopped and turned around, "She always picks up my clothes and trash." He went on to climbing up the stairs to pick up Kirsten.

"Hey." Lisa sweetly took Alex's attention. He brought some juice from the fridge as he went beside her. "I think Kirsten is a sweet girl. What do you call her again?"

"Kirchie!" Alex answered with a big smile. "You sure you don't want to share why she was apologizing to you?" He has been asking Lisa about it on their fast course date the last night. But she insists that, "It's for sweet girls only, baby. I hope Kirchie hasn't told a soul yet."

"Not even Jack?"

"Why not me?" Jack asked the two as he overheard what Alex said. Kirsten was behind him and was peeking her head out on the side.

"Kirchie!" Alex and Lisa said in chorus, then they looked at each other with the coincidence. The four laughed about it and Kirsten stepped out of Jack's shadow.

Kirsten slowly walked up to Lisa and greeted her, "Hi Lisa!" They were both smiling at each other. Alex and Jack looked at each other with confusion.

"These two are going to build Homer and Marge so I think we could go somewhere?" Lisa asked, dropping the hints that she wanted to talk to her in private.

Alex pulled Jack with him as they went to his car. It made Jack wonder about what was happening around him. He thought he was being left out again. "Do you know what's going on?" he asked his best friend as they pulled out the box that was sleeping on his car for a while already.

"Baby said it's a girl thing so, I don't want to poke my head on it."

Kirsten and Lisa went up to the veranda. They even waved at their boyfriends who were on their way back inside the house. Lisa took out the pancakes and coffee from their take-out boxes and spread it across the small round table between their seats.

"Thanks for these. Now I don't have to prepare breakfast." Kirsten said while playing with her hands. It wasn't that cold anymore, but she feels a little nervous with Lisa around, and Jack away from her.

Lisa pushed the coffee carefully to Kirsten's side of the table. "I appreciate your apology so much, Kirchie." Kirsten turned to her with big eyes. She felt that she made the right decision to risk an unwanted apology because it really paid off.

"Glad I trusted my lucky instinct."

"So how are you guys doing?" Lisa asked, almost cutting her out.

Kirsten sipped her coffee, just to buy herself some time. No one ever wondered on their relationship, only Lisa. Kirsten was hesitant to explain or to tell a part of their story, because she just met Lisa so she started with, "Were doing just fine! Thanks for asking." She wasn't really that thankful because she's not used to telling her story immediately with other people.

"I heard about the proposal." she opened up as she took a bite from her pancake.

"What?!" Lisa was surprised with her reaction. But Kirsten remembered why she would know, "Oh! It's Alex."

Lisa nodded her head to confirm that she got the news from her boyfriend. "You know, I never heard Jack talking about proposals or getting married and all that stuff so I had that reaction too. What?!" she mimicked Kirsten's recent reaction.

"Really? A gossip about it never came out too." Lisa shot her a confused look. In her mind she was wondering why a gossip would come into their conversation. "You know, as a fan I'm looking out for juicy gossips about Jack. So, I never had any idea about his views on marriage stuff."

"I agree, and I must say," Lisa paused for a while to wipe her mouth. "You're the most calm fan I have ever met."

Kirsten snorted upon hearing the most calm fan. "You should have seen me freak out the first time I saw them. My nape was in pain the first night because I was looking up to them all the time!"

Lisa laughed out with her as she also has nape pain problems whenever they're all together. "You're taller than me so you could just imagine all the trouble I'm going through. Well, at least I'm not alone alone now!"

The two went on and on about their first encounters with the band, Lisa having their fetus stories. There were a lot of laughs, and some bitter moments.

"You-you might be my first girl friend here, Lisa."

"Might be? Brush it off Kirchie! I'm your new girl friend." her sweet smile reassured Kirsten that they are really friends. She could go out of town without being spotted with Jack all the time.

Kirsten was almost tearing up when Alex and Jack barged in on the room where the veranda was connected. "Lisa!" Jack called out. The two girls turned around and saw the two panting by the sliding glass door. "Where's Marge's feet?" he asked.

Lisa looked at Alex, and he just shook his head. They were almost done, but they couldn't find Marge's feet. "Maybe you left it at the car?" Kirsten asked them. The two ran off back to the car to look up for it.

"Or maybe," Lisa pulled out something from her pocket. "they left it with me?" She was holding on to Marge's feet.

"Oh, that's evil." Kirsten smirked at her.

"I know, Kirchie. Come on, I'll just put this on the couch." the two giggled with their pretty evil plan as they went down the stairs.

Alex and Lisa left after an hour of sweet good chat. The two new friends didn't bulge into spilling out their little apology secret and vowed that they wouldn't tell anyone about it.

But Kirsten spilled one detail about their little morning chat at the veranda with Jack. "She's my new girl friend now."

"You're a lesbian? I can deal with that." his face expresses indifference.

"Oh, come on!" was all that Kirsten could speak out. It was a big deal for her to have a new friend. It wasn't like she never cared for the whole crew of All Time Low. Lisa was a different person, she's Alex's girl. She's the one she could talk about other things to, things that are not about the band.
