You and Bryson were on the balcony of your Calabasas home talking when his phone interrupted your conversation. Swiftly swiping the decline button and shoving the iPhone back into his pocket you began to feel a rush of anger feel your veins. "this nigga tryna be sneaky and I'm not having it" you thought.
"So what you hiding Djuan?" You said with such animosity in your voice. His eyes widened at the sound of his middle name escaping your lips, he knew you weren't playing.
"Huh?" He said barely over a whisper.
"If you can huh me? You can hear me" you rolled your eyes.
"Um.. That was my home boy Eli. He ain't want nothing" he said quickly.
"How you know? You ain't answered it".
"He don't want nothing. He probably talking about his new girl".
"Why you sweating?" You said as sweat formed on the crease of his forehead, as he tried to wipe it off of his forehead you tried reaching in his pockect to retrieve the phone he's trying to hide from you.
"Back up Courtney. What you doing?".
"What are you hiding?".
"Why you always assuming I'm hiding something?".
"Djuan if I got to say it one mo' time-" the phone rang again, interrupting you mid sentence. He takes the phone out of his pocket and you snatch it out of his hands and look at the name.
"Who the hell is Bella?". Before you could hear him answer you swipe the answer button and began talking.
"Why are you calling my man? The next time you call you gone be in the wheel chair so try me bitch!" You spat.
"Um. I was calling to tell Bryson that his reservations at Nobu were made and I set up a spot for him at the Malibu beach".
"Bitch didn't I just tell you-".
"Stop cursing at me. I don't want your man. This is for you, im setting all of this up for you. Bryson wanted to give you a early anniversary since he won't be here on your anniversary" she confessed.
Now you felt bad.
"Oh" you said dryly. Bryson grabbed his phone out of your hand and finished the conversation.
"I'm sorry Bella. Uh huh. Yeah I know. Thank you for everything" you looked at him as he hung up the phone
"How do you feel? I hope you feel-" you stopped him by crashing your lips with his. After the kiss you looked into his eyes.
"My bad baby. I ruined everything".
"You didn't ruin everything you just know my plans now" he lightly chuckled.
"My bad. Next time you see Bella tell her you have a girlfriend that don't play so don't just call whenever she feel like it".
"You not even gone say sorry".
"Of course not. Bryson we been together for five years you should know by now I don't apologize".
"You something else. Now go upstairs and get ready. Reservations are in an hour" he smacked your ass.
"I love you Bryson. Happy anniversary" you said trying to lighten up the mood a bit.
"Mmhmm I love you too" he laughed as he walked to sit on the couch as you went to slay your make up.
Well there was three things learned today.
Don't call a man whenever you feel like it and you know he has a women at home.
