They were home, and when I say home, I don't mean their shared home in Las Vegas, I meant Cincinnati. This morning Dean had randomly woken up, looked in his bedside table's drawer and demanded they go out to dinner. Mercedes was suspicious throughout the entire dinner. Though it was quite enjoyable.
After they finished eating he reached across the table and rested his palm on hers
"I love you," he said smiling fondly at her
"I love you too," she replied
"Let's go for a drive hun," he said to her. She nodded and he paid the cheque and led her outside
"I have to blindfold you, its a surprise," he said to her, she whined
"Puddin' you know I hate surprises," she argued as he tied the piece of cloth around her eyes and fastened it behind her head
He smiled at her even though she couldn't see him
"Don't worry, I think you'll like this one," he promised and began driving
Destination
After reaching the destination, Dean carefully guided her to where he had taken her. And he pulled off the blindfold only to cover her eyes straight after
"Ready?" He asked she nodded and he slowly removed his hand

She gasped as soon as her eyes adjusted to where they were
"Remember here?" He asked her she was so overcome by emotions
"We met here, we each had our first kiss here with each other, we promised to always be there for each other, we had our first time here," she said finishing in a blush
"And how old were we?" He asked her
"17 and 18," she replied
"Yup, and 13 years later, here we are still together. There's a reason I brought you here," he said pulling her to the middle of the slightly populated park
"We met when we were kids but became soulmates for the first time when we were 16 and 17, I found you crying on this very bench," he said pointing to the bench
"When your boyfriend at the time had cheated on you, we instantly became best friends. This is probably the only place in Cincy I actually like, cuz its where I met the love of my life, we had so many great memories here, so now I wanna make another," he paused dropping to one knee watching as Mercedes' hand flew to her mouth while he took the other and produced a ring from the pocket of his midnight blue blazer and showed it to her

"So Mercedes Grace Colace, the reason I smile and why my heart beats, will you make me the luckiest man in the world and marry me?" He finished
She couldn't believe it. It was just as she dreamed it was since she was a little girl. She was a princess, getting married to her handsome prince who loved her.
As she looked at him and his grin faltered, she realized she hadn't answered
"Yes." She breathed
He smiled so wide, she thought his face would split in two, then everyone in the park at that time clapped as they met in a kiss
