*Flashback*: Leah, Michael, Marcus, and Jamarcus
"Leah you gotta get up babe it's prom night we have a lot of stuff to do before seven" my mom said whispering and playing in my hair.
"Mom" I grunted
"No exceptions baby girl get up !" I rolled my eyes and closed my eyes "I'm so excited my last child is graduating next week" she squealed
I forced my head up and mugged my mom and turned over I rolled my eyes again but it hit me I actually do have to get up because I'M OFFICIALLY ALMOST DONE WITH HIGH SCHOOL. I'm so happy because I seriously was thinking about dropping out and becoming a stripper. I walked over to my mirror "I mean I got the body for it" I said bluntly to myself I shrugged my shoulders and walked over to my phone.
I sent a text to Michael and decided to get my day started I put my hair in a high bun and walked over to my closet "what the hell am I going to wear ?" I said to myself I decided to put on some sweatpants and a regular old t-shirt cause its going to be a long day. I walked downstairs and rubbed my eyes "Mom I'm so sleepy" I said putting my head on her shoulder.
"I know lee but tonight is your night babe" she said rubbing my face "you're going to win prom queen and then graduate" she said smiling at me "I'm so proud of you" she also said squealing and pinching my cheeks.
"Mom" I said moving her hand away and walking over to the bar stool "So do you know if dad and my older siblings are coming to see me leave ? I asked sitting down
She curled her lips and shook her head I rolled my eyes "I'll be upstairs" I said walking up the stairs.
"They'll be here Leah I promise"
I ignored her and walked in my room I looked at my phone and missed a call from Michael "let me call him back" I said to myself I sat on my bed and called him.
"Hey baby" I said smiling and sitting on my bed
"Hey love" he said "you ready for tonight ?" He asked
"Of course I can't wait to go" I said half smiling
"What are our colors again ?" He asked
"Michael don't play with me" I said laughing and rolling my eyes " I told you a million times"
He chuckled "I'm kidding I just wanted to make sure you remembered" He said I chuckled and signed "So do you remember ?" He asked
"Michael you seriously did not forget our colors" I said standing up
"Nah nah nah babe I forgot my color" He said laughing
"What ?" I said to myself "that made no sense, your color is my color Michael" I said getting upset
"Calm down babe just tell me the color and I'll know what I'm looking for" He said sounding like he didn't care
I widen my eyes and then squinted them "You know what you figure it out for yourself, I can't believe you right now" I said
"Leah calm down damn" He said laughing
I hung up the phone and threw myself on my bed "I can't believe him he decides to do this on our prom night" I said to myself I rolled my eyes and started to go through my old texts with my dad to see how he promised he would be in town for my prom and my graduation. He's such a liar I should've never believed him he always does this to me and Michael seriously has to fight me. I mean how many times do I have to explain to this guy our colors I rolled my eyes and threw my phone on the bed and left my room
