Prom was a week away so everyone was getting ready and getting there prom tickets except for the core four
"Hey Cyd aren't you going to get your ticket to the prom" Shelby said
"I would go but I don't know who to go with" Cyd said
"Hey you don't need anyone to ask you to prom we can just go as friends" Shelby said
"But what if someone wants to ask her" Naldo said
"Like who?" Shelby said
"Oh good grief" Naldo said then he took another bite of his Apple
"Anyway thanks shelbs I would like to" Cyd said
"Ok well we better go prom dress shopping" Shelby said and then she dragged Cyd out of the school
"Ugh I wanted to go with Cyd" Naldo said
"Don't worry renaldo I will tell Shelby that you want to go with Cyd" Barry said

"No problem renaldo" Barry said then they went to class
The week went by and Shelby and Cyd were getting ready
"Ok which earrings" Shelby said
"Um the white ones they match your blue dress" Cyd said
"Ok" Shelby said then she put the earrings on

At prom
As Cyd and Shelby walked into prom they saw a lot of people in formal long dresses
"Shelbs thanks for going to the dance with me" Cyd said
"No problem your my best friend" Shelby said then Naldo walked to them
"hey girls" Naldo said then when he saw Cyd he was just staring "that the first time I seen you wear pink" Naldo said
"Oh it was Shelby's idea" Cyd said
"I will leave you two alone" Shelby said
"Ok" Cyd said then it was just Naldo and Cyd then a slow song came on the song was called I think your swell

"Well we should probably dance now" Naldo said
"Yep" Cyd said looking at the other side
"May I have this dance miss ripley" Naldo said
"Sure mr Montoya" Cyd said then she took his hand and they slow danced the whole song
