The Dancer

Tick tock tick tock

tick

tock

Slowly the gears grind to a halt

The animatronic slumps where she stands

Her delicate features motionless

How lovely that particular dance had been

She had glided across the floor, hopped onto the chair and from there, the table

Daintily spun about the various tools and pieces of metal strewn across the wooden surface

Then she had attempted a leap

Just a little bit too high

And something had snapped

She had broken

So now she must wait for the Gear-Master to arrive home

She must wait for him to see her on his workbench

For him to realize something was wrong

She must wait until he examines her carefully

Trying to locate the problem

She must wait for him to fix her

And then

OH and then she will dance once again

flying and leaping as beautifully as ever around the Gear-Master

as he smiles and begins working on another project

She smiles inwardly at this image

And with the thoughts of fluid movements and flowing melodies in her head

She patiently waits for him to get home

Hey guys! So I have no idea where the hell this came from, but I guess you could call it a happier poem. Ish. It's not as depressing as my other ones usually are, so that's a start I guess. Anyway, so I know I said I was going to be doing a triple update today, but I have to finish something important, so I may just have to do a double tomorrow. Pls don't hate me....

Anyway love you guys, thank you so much for reading!

Stay beautiful
