You did not deserve the confusion
The panic
You did not deserve the fire
The smoke
You did not deserve the pain
The agony
You did not deserve the suffering
The death
You did not deserve to leave those you love
You did not deserve to cease because of hate
You did not deserve to feel such horror and sadness
In your final moments
So we weep for you
We weep for those who had more to give
We weep for those who weren't done
We weep for those who were just given another chance
We weep for those who had finally found happiness
We weep for those who had reached their goals
And we weep for those who were heartbroken
We weep for those who were lost
We weep for those who were giving up
We weep for those didn't feel they were good enough
We weep for those who felt they deserved this
BECAUSE NO ONE DESERVED IT
So many precious lives taken away
Happy people, who were optimistic about life
Sad people, who needed time to heal
And a person to love and be loved by
PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD WEPT FOR THOSE WHO DIED IN 9/11.
Because not one of those people in the planes
Not one of those people in the towers
Not one of those people in the Pentagon
Not one of them deserved it
All of the things they were
All of the things they could have been
Lost.
