Two: Almost Eid

It was almost Eid.

Well, if you have no idea about what Eid is;

Eid al-Fitr (Arabic: عيد الفطر‎‎ "festival of breaking of the fast") is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting (sawm). The religious Eid is the first and only day in the month of Shawwal during which Muslims are not permitted to fast. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. The day of Eid, therefore, falls on the first day of the month of Shawwal. That is a formal definition of Eid. However, informal definition of Eid is that;

The festival that comes after the month of Ramadan in which, we feast.

Phew. Well, where were we?

Yeah, Eid was almost near.

Me and my cousin/friend Tehreem were excited about the holiday and wanted each other to visit their house.

Me: "Oh! And Eid is near, my friend."

Tehreem: "Yeah! I'm so excited about the feast!"

Me: "Me too! All I see is food everywhere after we have finished the holy month of Ramadan! But on the side note, I don't want Ramadan to go, yet."

Tehreem: "Surely! I'll miss this month."

Me: "But, on the bright side, Eid is near!!"

Tehreem: "Yes! I'm looking forward to greet you that day! You should visit my house!"

Me: "No, you visit my house!"

Tehreem: "But, we will have fun if you visit my house! So you visit."

Me: "Why not walk all the way to the road to your home, while you do the same. And then, we will meet in the middle, hug and kiss, then leave!"

Tehreem looked at me incredulously and face palmed her self.

Tehreem: "Are you suggesting we should meet in the middle of the way of our houses? On the road?"

Me: "Hell yes!"

Tehreem: "You, my friend, are very lame and idiot."
