A Wonderful Life

"Are you sure you're okay? I'm not just gonna leave you like this" Julian hovered over his wife of four years as she nodded

"Julian I'm fine, don't worry about me, go out and have fun with the boys" she said, sitting on the clad, cold bathroom floor, her head pounding as she pushed strands of hair out of her face

She hadn't been feeling well for the last two weeks, and she was too busy took to the doctors. Her job was far too important and so was supporting Julian in all of his matches. She wasn't going to waste her time going to the doctors over a stupid little stomach bug that will pass over time.

He gave her a tender kiss on the head as her placed a hand on her face

"I love you baby" he said as she flashed him a slight smile

He walked away, and headed out the door as she heard the door slam shut. She wasn't mad at all that Julian left, that's because he had stayed home with her for more than a week, and that was kind enough for him to do, after she asked him for many favors. So it was kind of a treat that he got to go out and she didn't want to hold him hostage basically.

She got off the bathroom floor, feeling the room slightly spin as she got up, she walked cautiously down the stairs as she cursed them out for being so steep.

Julian was nice enough to cook her breakfast, but her body wasn't nice enough to even attempt to keep it in her stomach as she headed up to the bathroom with one small bite of the waffle.

So she decided to call her mother, since she was the genius of all remedies, and dealt with her as a child. She must have some words of wisdom to offer on this horrid situation.

And within less than 25 minutes, her mother was there with a bowl of soup, more blankets, and gave her a bone crushing hug

"Mom you didn't need to do all of this, I just asked you to keep me company and-"

"How long have you been sick for? Two weeks you said? That seems awfully long for a stomach flu" her mom stated as she pushed around her soup and shrugged

"Yeah I suppose but-"

Her mother cut her off again "This seems quite personal but have you and Julian had-"

"Mom!" She explained as she gasped "What does that have to do with anything?" She asked as her mother smiled widely and took a seat next to her daughter

"Well, have you considered the possibility of being pregnant dear? It's very possible" she stated as the thought loomed over her head of Julian being a father. It was a thought the both of them had been considering, and Julian was dying to have a miniature him or her running around the house

"Well, I haven't thought that, by I guess I should consider it, so what do I do now?"

It turned out that she was pregnant with her first child when the little plus sign was shown on the test, following lots of screaming, hugs, and tears.

She couldn't wait to tell Julian, and when she did, he couldn't have been happier after giving her stomach lots of kisses and lots of kisses on his wife's lips of course.

And 9 months later, her and Julian were sitting on the couch

"I'm so exhausted babe, I wanna got to bed" she begged as he lightly pulled her head onto his shoulder

"I know but it's your due date! Aren't you excited, tonight we might have a baby in our arms!" He exclaimed excitedly as she let out a chuckled

"I am very excited, what do you think we're having?" She asked as he hummed

"Hm, maybe a boy, cause if so he better play with me, and grow up to be as good as me, if not- better I hope" Julian said as she chuckled

"You're too cute for your own good" she smiled

And as predicted, 3 hours later, Mrs. Draxler gave birth to a beautiful little boy

"You did great honey" Julian said, kissing her head as she smiled, cradling the baby as she looked at him with wide eyes

"I can't believe this right now, I'm officially a dad. What do you want to name him?" Julian asked as she pondered

"Martin, Martin Draxler. I've always wanted a son named that" she smiled as he agreed

"That's beautiful" he said, taking the baby from her hands with permission as she looked up at the two of them

"I think we might need another one, considering he might be lonely when he starts to get older don't you think?" He asked as she shook her head

"You cheeky little monkey, I agree though" she stated

And two years later, she gave birth again, but this time, to a baby girl named Charlie

Her smile was wide, even after 8 hours of being in labor she was still thrilled that her and Julian had created such a stunning and beautiful family of her own like she's always wanted

"Here Martin, look at your new baby sister" Martian giggled as he stood on his tippy toes to look at his new baby sister, he smiled, and clapped as he gave her a quick peck on the forehead

"You did great baby, I love you so much"

"And I love you too Julian, never forget that" she said smiling

It was for sure a wonderful life
