2: She tastes like the rest of my life

"Home, sweet home" Kendall exhaled looking tired "are you staying the night?" she asked holding my hand and smiling sweetly

"You're not going to let me sleep sweetie and I really need to pass out for at least 36 hours"

"pweaseeee" she pouted "I promise I will let you sleep"

I sighed

"Why not" Kendall started jumping happily, suddenly my phone rang

"Em!" I said excited, I looked at Kendall making a hush sign with my finger; she stopped jumping and exited the room.

"Val, I have some news!" she squealed

"Don't leave me hanging on niña!"

"I'm getting married!"

My heart skipped a beat and suddenly the blue velvet box in my pocket weighted a lot.

"Em! That's fantastic!" I tried to be so excited for her

"You HAVE to come to my wedding, please, it would be just one weekend and then you go back to your fabulous apartment in LA"

"Em, I-I-I don't think that's a great idea" I whispered

"Come on Val, they miss you, we all miss you. You haven't call in months and it has been years since you left."

"There's a reason why Em, the loathed me"

"Please Val, they will be happy to see you"

"When are you getting married?"

"March 31st"

That was in 3 weeks.

"Are you pregnant Emilia?"

"I'm not, but the closest date I could get at the Westin was in 8 months and yesterday there was a drop off and I took it, we've been dating for 10 years Val, 8 months would have felt like an eternity"

I smiled; Carlos was the nicest guy ever. I dated his sister when I was in college.

"I'll do whatever I can Em"

"Ok, bebe, call me if you can come, te amo"

"y yo a ti" I answered and hung up

"Is everything okay?" Kendall came to the room

"Em is getting married in three weeks" I whispered in shock

"are you going to the wedding?

"I don't... I don't know" my eyes started to sting

"Babe, you don't have to if you don't want to"

"I want to go, but... seeing them and relieving all that hurts"

Kendall looked at me lovingly, that same look she has always given me. She made life so easy, nothing hurt when I was with her, all my painful days were erased the day she kissed me for the first time, all of my scars and fears didn't haunt me anymore, she made my demons go away.

"You're zoning out again"

"I just love you" I said bluntly

Her cheeks turned the cutest shade of pink

"Me more" she responded kissing my nose "come on, we need to sleep, four cities in four months, we need to pass out ASAP"

She grabbed my hand and dragged me to her room, and soon we both fell asleep.

"They look so cute" I woke up to a familiar voice

"They are my favorite couple" a second voice added

"Hey! What about Kanye and me?"

"You guys are fine, but this two are the sweetest, look at how Val has her arm around Kendall" that was definitely Kylie

"I can hear you girls" I said opening my eyes

"Sorry Val" the four of them said at the same time, Kendall didn't move so I took her arm off my stomach and tucked her in bed.

"Let's go outside" I said walking out

"Soooo" Kim started "Did you do it?"

"I couldn't" I said covering my face with my hands

They stood in silence

"Paris was perfect, the weather, the lights, everything" I started

"But something wasn't right" Kylie finished my thoughts

"Exactly, I wanted it to feel alright, it was the start of a good life but I have nothing to offer to her" my mind was in my mediocre pay at Valentino.

"Don't say that" Khloe said "You can give her something that anyone el can't"

"Do you love her?" Kourtney asked

"You have no idea how she makes me feel" I took a deep breath "She tastes like the rest of my life"

My mind told me to stop there but my heart made me keep talking

"I used to be this lame ass girl who didn't know where she was, I felt so tired and I wanted to shut everything off, but she makes everything so bearable, even in my worst days she makes them feel great and man!, I'm so in love with her"

"I was so afraid that there was no one perfect for my little girl" a voice spoke from behind me, I turned around.

"Kris" I said in shock

"But you are everything a mother could ever dream for a daughter" she added

I wasn't much of a crier, but my eyes were extremely watery today.

"Can I marry your daughter?" I asked standing up and walking to her

"Of course Honey, you can marry all of us if you want!" she laughed and then hugged me.

"Now kid, we have a proposal to plan!" Khloe clapped enthusiastically

"When and where?" Kylie asked

Kim opened her eyes widely as she looked to the stairs

"What are you guys talking about?" Ken's voice echoed through the living room

"Fashion" Kourtney said

"Riiiiight" she rolled her eyes "Babe, did you get enough sleep?"

"I did sweetie, I'll sleep more tonight" I shrugged

She smiled and I couldn't help but getting lost in that gorgeous face.

"I adore you woman" I said before saying goodbye to everyone "I'll call you when I get home baby" I kissed her and left, my mind ran back to my sister's wedding.

It was going to be a nightmare.
