He could picture it...Her straddling him, riding him so fast and hard, so...

Seriously?
Ceaser groaned.

He was supposed to try to cool himself down and not overheat like a stallion ready to mate.

Well, it was as official as the laws.

That was the bluest of blue balls he'd had. Not that he'd ever been left with blue balls but he bet no one else could give him that much blue balls.

Damn.

He needed a freezing shower...for two hours tops.

Jules almost couldn't contain her anger as Ceaser walked out of the kitchen. To say she was shocked was an understatement of the century. She was mad and angry at herself for putting herself out there like that and getting turned down. She was finally ready to give herself to the douche and he turned her down like he was doing her a favour.

Sheesh! She felt humiliated and hurt. To even think that he wanted her, she thought he did but she guessed she was wrong.

She bet he'd found someone else who could give him what he always denied him of. He'd gotten tired of trying to bed her and moved on with the speed of lightning to the next woman that walked up.

As much as she hated to admit it, she was hurt...and jealous.

She had finally found the strength that left her a while ago. She got down from the slab, finished her orange juice and went back to her room.

She hadn't been able to sleep before and the situation just made it much worse. When she finally slept, it was in the early hours of the morning. Time sure went by really fast because when she woke up, it was a few minutes past twelve. She got up and did her morning rituals after which she wore her clothes from yesterday and folded Ceaser's clothes and placed them on the edge of the tidied bed.

She went downstairs and found Selene, Eric and Ivy in the living room. The TV was on with another episode of the cartoon show from yesterday.

"Am I glad to see you." She said as she walked into the living room.

They all looked up at her and smiled at her as she picked up a grinning Ivy.

"Mama." She beamed at Jules and she hugged her as tight as she could without squeezing her. Then she sat on one of the sofas with Ivy on her lap, eyes glued to the TV.

"We're soo sorry about yesterday. It was..." Selene started.

"Oh no, please. I understand. There was nothing anyone could have done." Jules told her "I'm just glad you're back safe."

"We're sorry either way. We promised to have her back but the weather..." Eric started.

"...was unpredictable" Jules finished for him "Really, I'm glad you're all safe."

"Ceaser said you two couldn't sleep at night. So, I didn't want to disturb you when we got back." Selene said.

"Thank you." She said looking at Ivy who looked the same as always.

Happy.

"Hmm, where's Cea...?" Jules started.

"He left when we got back." Eric said, "Said he had a lot of things to do before work tomorrow."

"Oh."

She was sad she wouldn't lie anymore to herself.

"It seemed as if something happened to him. He wasn't himself." Eric continued

Jules shrugged.

It sounded more like Eric had asked a question he already knew the answer to.

"I should get going too." She told them.

"Now?" Selene asked

"Yea." She said "I couldn't take Ivy to the park yesterday. So, I have to reschedule it for today."

"Alright." Selene said, "Why don't you stay for lunch before you leave then."

"I don't want to inconvenience..."

"Nonsense, you wouldn't." Eric said, "We love having both of you around; getting to know you and spending time with this little cutie."

Jules laughed.
"She is a charmer." She said to Eric who had picked Ivy from her.

"That she is." Eric said.

Silence filled the room as they all watched Ivy watching the cartoon.

"So, lunch?" Selene asked again.

Jules sighed
"Of course."

That was how the day started. Back to work and her horrible boss the following day, she best had as much fun as she could with Ivy.
