Zea's POV
Maaga kaming nagprepare ni Ethan para sa kasal. Actually, hindi pa rin ata nagsisink in sa akin ang magiging kasal namin. Oh well, andito na rin naman kami kailangan na naming panindigan ito. Kinakabahan ako.
"Love, are you nervous?"
"Aba! Sinong hindi?! Hindi ka ba kinakabahan??"
"Nope. I am more of excited."
"Tse."
"You are so beautiful my love."
"Ewan ko sa'yo. Teka, ano bang oras na?"
"I think we should go now."
Hand in hand, pumunta kami sa kotse. Hindi pa rin talaga nawawala ang kaba ko. Andami kong iniisip. What if mahuli ako nila Mama? o may makakita sa akin mamaya? o Kakilala pala nila Mama yung judge. Ewan. Nakakakaba.
Sabi ng secretary ni Judge, maghihtay lang daw muna kami. May hearing pa raw kasi. Okay lang naman sa amin since wala pa yung kinuha naming Ninong at Ninang.
Ilang minuto pa, dumating si Gen. George Richards ang head ni Ethan.
"Lt. Commander,"
"General."
Okay, kailangan talaga sumaludo.
"General, please meet my wife to be, Zea. Love, this General George Richards, my head."
"Please to meet my best man's lovely wife."
"The pleasure is mine Sir."
Ilang minuto pa, dumating na din si Mommy Gla. Sinimulan na ang kasal pero bago yun, nagtanong tanong muna si Judge.
"Buntis ka hija?"
"Hindi po."
"Sure ka ha? Kasi madalas ang napunta dito mga nagbuntis. Not because you are pregnant, you need to be married. Mahirap ang annulment process so I'll ask you kung talagang bang ready na kayo sa buhay may asawa?"
"Opo."
"Ikaw hijo, Are you ready to support your family and their needs?"
"Yes po."
"Hijo, why do you want to marry her?"
"For a 5 time rejected wedding proposal, My only wish is for her to say yes. Judge, this woman beside me, is my dream. She's the only girl I wanted to a wife. Everytime I close my eyes, it's only her lovely face I wanted to see. I am a soldier Sir. I fight. I go on wars. I might die. And the only thing I want in my life is for this woman to wait for me in whatever case I am in."
"Ikaw hija, why would you want to marry this man?"
"Because he has dreams. Because I am one of those dreams. Because I want to send him love while he fights. Because I want him in my life in whatever situation we are. I want to be part of him in his every journey."
The judge smiled and sighed.
"Now that I think you both are ready, let's now get you married."
