Connie's POV

"Steven?" I looked over from my 'book' to see Steven cooking

"Yes Connie?" he said as he flipped a pancake

"Where's Stevonnie?"

"Out on the beach" I smiled, Stevonnie was really playful like us- well he used to be

For some reason he didn't really like technology that much, and he seemed pretty distant. But we still were as close as can be-

"Connie?"

Just imagine, a young boring girl with no friends- then this charming little boy came into her life. She started getting friends and even an admirer-

"Connieeeeeeee"

But she still loved the charming magical boy was the one she loved. Haha, I knew we would be together someday, I mean- it fits. He's magical and I'm a human. I guess it was fate, now we have our own-

"CONNIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

"Oh, sorry Steven" I glanced away from my page. He was holding a plate of bacon and pancakes with a pouty face

"Are you ignoring me on purpose?" he laughed away and turned back into that Steven I love

"no no" I pulled him into a hug- my back pressed against his chest

" I was just thinking" I held him closer – his arms holding me close

I pulled him tightly

POOF

Everything disappeared into pink clouds- and fell out of existence. I sat down on the verge of tears, I missed Steven so much. I felt a nose nuzzle my cheek- it was Lion, he told me –well kind of a growl and took me here. This Lion is a lot like Steven...

Lapis's POV

We looked over at the ever shining concert lights as metal music boomed in every corner, ARGH Earth can be a bit annoying at times. I looked at Steven, he looked really happy

"happy to be home?"

"Mhm"

Wow I started a conversation

After like, 300 seconds we got to beach city- everything was dark and gloomy- I like it

I whispered to Steven

"wanna see something cool"

"sure!" he chirped

I tossed him in the air and he flew towards the clouds-

Into the clouds-

THROUGH THE CLOUDS

"are you okay???"

"hahahaha, yeah im fine" he was laughing over and over like a broken sound track

We finally got to his house,I took a glance at who was in there. Pearl was talking on a 'phone' and Garnet and Amethyst were cooking. I hid him behind a wall, I told him to sit there and wait for my signal.

"HELLO FELLOW GEMS" man I suck at lying

"oh, hello Lapis" Pearl whispered and continued with her conversation. Amethyst and Garnet waved at me as Amethyst pushed some mush into the oven

"Why don't you guys come outside?"

"Why would we?"

It was silent for a moment, she turned her head to Garnet
