Part 9

Peridot's POV

I-I'm supposed to feel hurt right? I was for a few seconds- and now I'm not. I opened my 'eyes' to see that it was dark all around me- I didn't have my limb enchancers: it was all dark. Upon further inspection of my 'body' it was not a projection at all- it was merely particles of my usual colors. There was a large screen infront of me- It was water. And around it was surrounded by tons of coral. But on my screen was a large crack. Oh no, my gem was cracked. I tried to bang on the screen but it just made it worse- the screen cracked more

Oh by the love of yellow diamond

Someone help meeeeee

I wanna generate and get out of this mess

Still nothing

"AAAAARGH!" I pounded my hands on the ground

Wait, I generated before didn't I? I sit on the floor

Well I guess that was more of an instinct since I was in a bubble- hm...

Maybe, If I try to think about being in there? I concentrated

It took 15 minutes

But I finally felt soft sand on my cushions

I walked to limb enchancers and using the strength I had left- I bubbled t and started to frantically climb against the rocks leading towards he surface

Steven's POV

I gave up trying to find Peridot and sat on the beach. I got some food at one of the trees and munched on a banana. The water started glowing all of a sudden. I backed up and saw I puff of yellow hair come out. - Its probably someone who needs help! Then came out a green hand. N-no it couldn't be-

"Peridot!?" I screamed. H-her gem was cracked and it almost shattered. She glitched in and out and said

"S-Steven" she smiled "h-help me" she tripped but I caught her

"It hurts" she said

"D-don't worry I can help you!" I got closer but- but she poofed

Her gem was cracking fast, I panicked and bubbled her gem "I need to get you home"

3rd Person POV

He walked around the island looking for a sign for escaping, there was a cluster of leaves being smushed together- by the ship. He ran towards it- looking for his cell-room. He hugged his cheeseburger backpack lovingly and walked outside. Thank goodness his phone survived the crash- although a bit damaged. He pressed his contact to ' Peridot' he knew that if he would call it- Lapis would answer

It rang- she picked up

"Is this a joke"

"Nope!" Steven chirped

"Oh my Stars Steven!" Lapis said overjoyed

"I'm stuck on an island, please find me"

"Oh- do you have your GPS?"

"oh good, send it to me"

Lapis received it

"I'm coming Steven!"

"See you soon!"

In less then 20 minutes the water gem flew in behind Steven- embracing him in a hug

"We were so worried about you!" she flew around with Steven

"I'm glad to be home!"

They started their flight back

"You should've seen Pearl" Steven looked worried "she was absolutely terrified"

"I'm sorry for leaving, is she okay now?"

Lapis shrugged

"what did you do while you were away?"

"well-" he paused "I'll tell you when we get at home

Amethyst's POV

Im glad we all got that over with, Yeah sure I got some weird glances from Sadie- but eh. Now we're just chilling. Garnet broke apart since Ruby was so tired of calming Sapphire. Kinda interesting that SHE of the two was the stressed one. So now im just eating donuts with Garnet while Pearl looks at me funny.

"Eugh" she said to me

"you're just jealous" Garnet grabbed a donut. There was a bunch of ringing coming from Pearl's new phone

"oh I'll be right back"

"your girlfriend calling you?" she blushed and I chuckled. Man, Pearl is really fun to play with

I just continued eating. Garnet didn't look so chill

Her hands constantly moved and her shoulders were raised. I spoke up

"um, Im going to the boardwalk- seeya" I walked out

Every time that I would pass by someone, they would say "where's Steven?"

And I would say "taking a nap"

Man, that must be a really long nap
