the ship landed like before, Pearl's eye twitched. It had taken them back to what Garnet had gone through

~ Jasper ran towards Garnet with the weird object still in her hand, with one foul swoop- Garnet had froze and yellow vein-like strikes had traveled her body, each seperating end cutting her physical body. Her glasses cut apart and the last thing she saw was the terrified face of Steven, her body completely cutting off and leaving her gems in place~

Garnet shuddered but looked on anyway.

A triangle head peeked over, and said "My diamond, we're here"

It was a Peridot

next, Yellow diamond's Pearl had walked to the Peridot

"This better not be a waste of our diamond's time!" she stiffened as she heard 4 words

"It will, my Pearl"

the gems froze in place as the leader of all gemkind had walked to the two. There she was- Yellow Diamond. Steven felt tears roll down his face...

Another Diamond is here, and not here to help.

but he felt another thing, a gem hugging her desperately
Peridot was whimpering at the sight of her former diamond

Steven didn't even ask what was wrong

he felt a mix of emotions as he looked at the diamond, tall and powerful- she was even larger then Alexandrite and Malachite. After all the things he had been through- could this be his end? He knew the pure power of gems like Amethyst that could almost destroy him- but someone like Yellow Diamond was an instant death. He knew that if she was her to finish the war by destroy the rest of his mom's precious army, they would die and the earth would be split apart, hollowed out along with all humans. He had betrayed his promise to earth-Rose's promise to earth, he betrayed so many crystal gems who risked their lives

he couldn't take it

"WHY ARE YOU HERE!" he screamed already frustrated

the Peridot looked confused at him, then chuckled and replied "We're here for that one"her finger pointed to Steven.

"m-me?"

"no not you, you imbecile" she scowled "her" Steven realized what she said.

they were here for her

"YOU CAN'T HAVE HER!" amethyst screamed in anger

"SHE'S ONE OF US NOW!" pearl retorted as well

then Yellow Diamond clenched her fist "If she doesn't go back to homeworld and fulfill her duties, she and you all will be shattered on spot"

They all froze, its undeniable that she could do that... but, they couldnt do that- could they?

for what seemed like days, they all stood in silence.

but Peridot stood up

and she walked to Yellow Diamond

"if it means you cause Earth no harm, I surrender"

Steven ran towards the green gem "Peridot no!" he cried again

"Steven, even you know what happens if I don't do this"

"B-but I'll lose you!" his eyes started to tear up again

"but you can keep your home" she backed away, and started to slowly walk away

"No, no no!" Steven tried to run to her-

"Im sorry Steven" 

and the ship door closed
