I stare out the window and look at the tall buildings, towers of my home town. I smile. I'm home.

"Mommy! I'm hungry!" Ben protested. I laugh and give her some biscuits. Dad smiled and turned left. We were now driving through the driveway of the mansion. My breath hitched, as dad stopped the car. Amanda and Louise were standing on the porch.

I climb out of the car and super sped to them. I scream like a child and hug them tightly. They laughed and hugged me tightly. "Oh my god! Liz, you've changed! Your hair is brown now!" Louise exclamied. Her pixie cut had grown a bit. She looked pretty.

Amanda squealed. "You look pretty as fuck. OMG, are they your babies?!" Amanda shouted and the two ran to the kids. Dad smiled. I smile back at him. "It's good to be back."

"Yes, it is." He said and we all get inside the mansion. The servants greeted me politely. I greeted back. I feel someone tug my dress. I look down and see its Ben and Ella. They yawned, rubbing their eyes. "We're sleepy," they said, simultaneously.

I smile and pick them up in my arms. They leaned their head against my shoulder. I walk upstairs. I look around, as I walk down the halls. The walls were now cream colored. The floor was polished and not one dust was there. The staircase was now black, which suits the house.

"Madam," I hear a voice behind me. I turn around and saw it was one of the servants. She lead me the way to the babies room. We walk in. The walls were covered in baby blue and pink. There were two small beds. It was nicely decorated.

I tuck them in their beds and kiss their cheeks and foreheads. I turned off the lamp and walk out with the maid. "Madam, the shower is ready. You can go," she said. I nod and she walked away.

I walk in my room and I am greeted with this homey scent. I smile and walk in my bathroom. I shower. It took 15 minutes. I get dressed in sweats and tie my wet hair in a tight bun. I apply lotion and get out of my room.

I walk downstairs and see the rest of them seated in the living room. The three smiled, when they saw me. I smile back and sit down by the fire place to warm myself.

"So, um, I was thinking that we should go to the ancestors tomorrow evening." Dad said to me. I nod. "Okay," I say. He nodded and we all fell quiet.

"Ok, good night, girls." Dad kissed my forehead and left for bed. Amanda and Louise sat closer to me. I smile at them excitedly. "Mands! Who's the guys?!" I ask, pumped. Amanda blushed. "Well, after you left Brampton, a new guy came in uni. And, we started dating. He proposed a month ago."

I let out a small scream and take her hand. There was a beautiful diamond ring fixed on her third finger. "It's beautiful. What is his name?" I ask. "Derek," the two answered at the same time.

"He seems nice. How long have you been dating?" I ask. Amanda smiled. "2 years."

I smile back. "So, when are you going to meet Justin?" Louise blurted out. Amanda smacked her shoulder. I sigh. "Dunno. Tomorrow. How is he?" I ask, concerned. Amanda rolled her eyes and got up from the couch. What happened to her suddenly?

"He's been pretty reckless, actually. He's completely changed. The Justin, that we know, is gone," replied Louise, sighing. I nod. "That always happens to a newbie. But, what happened to him? Why did he turn off his humanity?" I ask confusedly. Louise bite the inside of her cheek. "His mother died."

I sigh. "I have to meet him tomorrow," I say. Louise nodded. Amanda checked her watch. "Oh! It's already 10! I have a late night date with Derek. Bye, guys!" She hugged and kissed us and left. Louise and I chuckle lightly. This girl is so in love.

"Why don't you stay over tonight?" I suggested, turning to Louise. She shrugged. "Sure."

"So, how's it going out with you and Jamie?" I ask, walking to the table to pour us some bourbon. "Uh... we broke up," she answered awkwardly. I frown and turn around. She had a perplexed look on her face. I couldn't tell if she was sad or not.

"Um, wow. Okay, why didn't you tell me?" I pick up the glasses and walk to her and sit down beside her. She shrugged. "I just needed some time," she said. I wanted to say I was sorry, but, we both know how much I hate Jamie.

"Oh, brighten up! We're both single! Ready to mingle!" I hand her a glass. She laughed. "True that."

"A toast," I raise my glass. She raised hers. "Ok. To what?" She said. "To us, single beautiful ladies," she laughed and we clinked our glasses and chug the drink down.
