"YAY! MY DREAM CAME TRUE!" Amanda shouted. I cringe and held my ears. Louise laughed and wrapped her arm around Jamie, her girlfriend. I sgh and eat my french fry. We were talking about Benajamin.
"Guys, she's still not over Justin's betrayal," said Jamie. My eyes hardened. "Jamie!" Louise scolded. Jamie rolled her eyes. "Whatever. She betrayed him too, you know. You can't blame Justin for all this."
I pick my fork and throw at her direction. She quickly catched it. Louise gave me a pitying look. Jamie was smirking. "Whatever," said I and got up and left the lunch room of the school. I walk down the halls. Suddenly, someone grabbed my arm. I snatched my arm back, when I saw Justin.
"Liz, please. Just... talk to me," he said. "Ugh. Fine," I grumble.
"Look. Margaret was just a one time thing. I know that you're a vampire. I love you, Liz. Only you. Nobody else," said Justin. "Justin. I," said I. I didn't know what to say.
"Look. Something happened yesterday. And, I have chosen between you and Benjamin," his eyes harden, when I mention Ben's name. However, I continue. "It's Benjamin. It has always been him. I just didn't realize it until yesterday. And, I... I feel.... happy. I'm sorry."
"If that's what you want, then... I have no problem." He walked away from me. I sigh, as I see him walk away.
My phone buzzed loudly. I take it out. The caller ID was Benjamin. I smile and answer. "Hey, gorgeous," he said, through the other end. I giggle. "Hi."
"So, what are you doing tonight?" He asked casually. "Nothing. Why?" I reply.
"Do you want to, you know, go out tonight?" He asked, awkwardly. I smile smugly. "Benjamin Sullivan, are you asking me out on a date?" I ask, laughing. "Yup. Will you?" He asked.
"Of course I would," I said. "Great. I'll text you the details," said he. "I love you," the words literally fly out of my mouth. He didn't say anything.
"I love you too, Liz. Bye. I love you so so much." He replied. I laugh. "Bye," he hung up. I smile and hang up. I sigh happily, as I walk down the halls of the school.
"Someone seems happy," I hear a familiar voice said from behind. I turn around and smile. Father stood by the wall. "Dad? What are you doing here?" I walk to him and hug him. He hugged back.
"I came to pick you up. Apparently, the hunters have a lot of weapons holding against us. And, I need yours and Benjamin's help," he explained.
I frown and then nod. "Ok. Let's go then."
We get out of the school. We get inside Dad's car. He drove off to home.
We reach our house and walk up the porch. Benjamin was sitting on the swing and texting. I smile, as I walk up to him. He smiled and got up. He kissed my lips. I kiss back and hug him tightly. He hugged back. "Hi," I giggle.
"Hey, Liz," he greeted back and we walk inside the house. We walk in the living room and plop down the couch. Dad walked in with Margaret and Mother. Benjamin wrapped his arm around me. I smile.
"So, um, I'm thinking that you and Benjamin should go to the hunter's place. Margaret did a locating spell, so I have the adderess. You can check out the place. They won't be there until night," Father said to me. I nod.
"Ok. No problem," said Benjamin. "Ok then. Well, you guys can leave." Dad said to us. We nod and left. I intentionally push Margaret.
She glared at me. I smirk and walk out with Benjamin. There were two living rooms in our mansion, so we went to the second one.
We sat down on the couch. He got up and and walked to the bar. He poured down bourbon on glasses. He walked to me and and gave me one. "Thanks," I sip the bourbon. He chugged it down.
"I want to dance with you," he said. I smile and look at him. I ruffle his hair and get up from the couch. I take my phone out and start playing music. I extended my hand. He laughed. I smile.
He took it gracefully and got up. He put his hand on my waist. I entwine my fingers with him and we dance away. He spinned me around. I spin back to him and kiss him softly.
He kissed back. We pull away. He again spinned me. I giggle and fall in his arms. I wrap my arm around his neck. He kissed me hard. I kiss back. "I love you, Ben."
"I love you too." I stand upstraight and we dance away to the moonlight.
