"This is cute." I pick up a full sleeved blue plaid shirt and a black skater skirt. Since it was winter, Benjamin gave me tights to wear underneath the skirt. Benjamin, Amanda and Louise looked at my outfit. "Yeah. You should wear it." They said. I turn to the mirror. Benjamin gave me a thumbs up. I draw the curtains and they were on the other the side.
I get dressed in the clothes. "You finished?" I hear Benjamin say. "Well, I'm coming in anyways," he undrew the curtains and checked me out. He smiled. I look at him in the mirror. "You look beautiful, Beth." He said. "Thanks, Ben." I smile, turning to him. Louise and Amanda smiled and checked my outfit. "Yes. You do." Louise said.
I smile and sit down on the chair. Amanda walked to me and brushed my hair and then braided my long blonde hair. Benjamin walked over to me and handed me my thick black rimmed glasses. I groan. "You need to blend in with humans, Eliza. You need to act as human as possible." He said, sternly.
"How does wearing glasses is going to make me more human-like?" I ask, weirdly, placing them on the bridge of my nose. "I don't know. I just made that made up." Benjamin said, walking away to Louise. We all share a laugh.
"There. Your hair is all done." Amanda said, smiling. I look at the mirror. I smile at the reflection. "Thanks, Mands." I said to Amanda. "No worries, Lizzie," she replied. I get up from the chair. I look at the clock. It read 8:58. My heart leaped with excitement. I wear my faux fur hat. Benjamin smiled. "Now, you look like you're human." He said. I take a deep breath.
The door burst open, revealing father with blood bags. He threw us the bags one by one. We catch it. "Thanks, Mr. Morrison." Benjamin. Dad waved him off and walked out. We all started drinking. I moan as I drink the blood. So sweet.
We stop drinking when we feel a human close. Justin. Uh oh. We quickly super speed to the bin and throw them. I lick my canine. Yum.
The door creaked open, and Justin came in, looking handsome as hell. He was all warm and cozy. He also had a faux fur hat and coat on, like me. He smiled, when he saw me. I smile back. "Hey, babe." He walked over to me and gave me a long lingering kiss. Aww. Amanda and Louise said, through the mind link. I pull away fdom Justin and glance at Ben. He looked at me. His green eyes hurt.
Justin pulled away. I look at Benjamin, who was pouting. I shook my head and looked back at Justin. "Hey, J," I greeted. He smiled and looked at Amanda, Louise and Benjamin. "You guys ready to go?" He said. They nod. We all walk out of my room.
"Nice car." I say, as we walk to black range rover. "Thanks, babe." Justin winked at me and we all climbed in the car. Justin drove off. I stare out the window. I feel Justin's hand on my thigh. My eyes dart to him. He smirked and glance over at me, and then looked front. A crimson blush spread on my face. I think you're going to get laid tonight. Louise's voice said in my head. I hear Amnda giggle. I sigh. Really unnecessary, Lou. I said through our mind link. Whatever. I was just stating a fact. She said. I don't reply.
Justin and I... we are really complicated. He's a great guy and he's perfect for me. I really like him a lot, but... he's a human and I'm a vampire. We're different. Really different. I just don't want to involve in my twisted life. I'm immortal, he's not. I can't let my life go like movies or something. Should let him go? Just, break up with him?
I don't have the answer for that, Liz. I hear Benjamin say softly throughour link. He's a mind reader, like my dad. I almost feel tears spilling, but stop them. If I do, I won't just hurt him.
