As I make the bed I can't help but notice how strange Harry has been acting all day. He keeps hanging around me but not really speaking even though constantly looking like he wants to. I'm going for it. It's no secret my patience is like a sheet of paper.

"Harry, what?" I snap.

"What?" He asks quietly, looking away as he stands by the door.

"Why are you like...like...clinging? You've just been standing around all day. What's wrong?" I ask.

He looks at me like he'll chicken out again before he rolls his eyes and walks toward me, taking something out of his back pocket.

"I-I, well, I got you something." He says shyly and hands me the black ovular box, fisting his arm as soon as he hands me it.

The box is clearly broken, the old black colour showing through but covered in dust and dirt and I'm at first hesitant to open it.

"I found it when the A team went hunting yesterday. Well, Jason found the box but I found the-the thing." He says awkwardly and I stare at him in shock. "Well open it then." He snaps quietly, and I almost laugh at how weird he's being.

When I open the box my eyes widen and stomach drops to the floor as they take in the silver chain decorated with a green emerald in the middle.

"It's a necklace." He points out the obvious but all I can do is smile at him because no one has ever been so kind to me. I can't remember the last time someone gave me a present that didn't have ammunition in it.

"Harry it's beautiful." I smile, my dimples are controllable and this seems to make him more confident as he comes toward me and takes it out the box.

"You're always saying how green my eyes are so..." And I could nearly cry with love for him. He's basically saying he got it so he's always close to my heart, but not in so many words. He wraps the chain around the neck, the emerald falling just above my heart and he drops my hair back round my shoulder and I turn to him, my arms squeezing around his body and he hugs me back.

"Thank you." I whisper and feel him smile against me. "I definitely made you a sap." I say and hear him huff and I laugh at how moody he gets when I say that.

"You tell anyone and I'll chop your head off." He threatens and I smile into his shoulder, pulling back and dropping a kiss on his shimmering lips when a siren alarms.

There's a knock on the door and a panicked Liam comes through.

"You need to come. Right now." He says but is gone as fast as he came.

I turn to look at Harry but he's already sprinted at his full speed and is already wherever we're to go. I run out the room and look around for where to go and decide it's the best idea to follow the people with guns rather than the ones screaming and running for the closest exit. I get faster down the hall as more and more people with guns appear and when I run outside I see what's happening.

The Resistance have set up outside the fence, thousands, each armed with guns and other weaponry aimed straight at our heads and I slowly move through the guards towards Harry who stands at the front. It's completely silent other than Zayn negotiating with someone from the Resistance when a hand grabs mine.

"Stay there." They whisper, and I look up but all the guards are still just looking straight forward. I look around confused for who said it but can find no one so try move again. "Stay where you are." The voice says louder this time and a soldier takes off his helmet and moves through the crowd. I want to follow him but his voice has somehow compelled me to stay where I am.
