Maybe There's a Reason I Never Had Kids

I heard the laughing and giggling of kids coming from my living room.
My wife and I never had kids, and we live in the middle of nowhere.
I walked out to see a little boy and girl, no older than 10, sitting in the middle of my living room.
I stopped dead right there and their laughter stopped as well.
They both stood up and just stood there for a second.
They slowly started to turn around, once they did, to my disgust, they had pitch black eyes.
They both looked at one another, smiled to reveal a large set of sharp teeth, and started walking towards me.
