Being Tyler's sister is a tad bit difficult. Tyler is really over protective to the point that he has to approve every guy that I date. It literally is the most ridiculous thing ever, our parents don't care at all who I date just as long as they treat me well.

But, there's one thing that Tyler doesn't know. I have feelings for Josh. I have ever since I met him. He's sweet, funny, and is always there for me. We also have a tendency to flirt a lot. However, we tone it down a bit when Tyler's around just because neither of us want him to flip out.

"Y/N!" Tyler yells as he walks into my apartment. Yeah it was kind of a mistake to give him a key because he does this all the time, he'll just randomly show up with out calling me.

"What?" I say in a whiney voice as I walk from my bedroom to the front room.

I walk into the room greeted by the sight of Tyler and Josh sitting comfortably on my couch. I can't help but roll my eyes at the two of them. I walk over to the recliner placed to the side of the couch and sit down glaring at the two of them.

"What?" Tyler asks innocently,

"Why can't you ever call like a normal person?" I say to him still glaring at him.

"Because I'm your brother who has a key," he says in a sassy voice. Josh can't help but laugh at him.

"I swear you are so weird," I say shaking my head with a giggle.

"Um excuse you, I'm not as weird as you," he says.

"No, your both equally weird," Josh says laughing.

"Fine," I say with a giggle. "So why are you guys here?"

"We just wanted to hang out," Josh says looking at me with a smile. I couldn't help but blush.

"What do you guys want to do then?" I ask tilting my head to the side.

"We could watch a movie?" Tyler says.

"I like that idea," agrees Josh.

"I don't have any popcorn or soda though," I say with a slight giggle.

"My dear sister, what is wrong with you?" Tyler says with a laugh.

"Nothing is wrong with me, I just don't keep that kind of stuff stocked up," I say back to him with a giggle.

"Ugh fine, I'll go to the store. Josh want to come with me?" Tyler says.

"Nah, I'm going to stay here, if that's okay," Josh says sort of nervously.

"Yeah that's fine, but you two need to pick a movie," Tyler says pointing his finger at us. "I'll be back."

Tyler left and I was left alone with Josh. We sat there in silence for a few moments, neither of us knowing what to say. I stare at my hands not wanting to meet his gaze.

"Come sit next to me," Josh finally says.

I move from my seat to the couch. I cautiously sit next to Josh feeling rather nervous. I shift a few times to get comfortable. Once comfortable Josh wraps his arm around me and reaches for the remote, turning on the TV. I snuggle into his chest as he flips through the various movies that are on OnDemand.

"Hey, Y/N," Josh says still going through all the movies.

"Yeah?" I ask looking up at his angelic face.

"I like you, a lot. I like you as more then a friend," he says unexpectedly as he moves to look at me.

"Josh," I say, my voice shaking, "I like you too."

My words cause a huge grin to appear on Josh's face. I couldn't help but mimic his expression. HIs hand goes to my cheek, caressing it and slowly rubbing his thumb on my warm skin. We gaze into each others eyes. He slowly begins to lean in, I follow his lead and do the same. Our lips meet in the middle. I practically melt into his kiss, his lips are so soft and warm. I wrap my arms around his neck and deepen the kiss, loving every moment of it.

"What the fuck?" Someone screams with a loud noise, like something had dropped on the floor.

I quickly part my lips from Josh and look toward the door. There stood Tyler, his face red with anger, his eye brows furrowed. He was mad, really mad. The items he had purchased from the store are now all over the floor. I wipe my mouth and scoot away from Josh. I look at the floor, not wanting to meet my brother's furious eyes.

"T-Tyler, I can explain," Josh says timidly.

"Shut up! That's my fucking sister, you can't date your best friends sister. It's the ultimate unspoken rule," he says with a booming voice.

"She's an adult, not a child. Y/N can make decisions for herself," he says rather loudly.

"She's my sister! You're my best friend, I don't approve," he says in a staccato voice.

"I like her, Tyler. A lot," Josh says touching my hand.

Tyler stares at us, contemplating what to say. His face begins to turn bcd to his normal color. His eyes start to relax. His eyes move between the both of us.

"Really?" He finally says. With both look at each other and look back at him, both nodding. "I-I guess if you promise not to hurt her it's okay."

"I won't, Tyler, I promise. I will never hurt her," Josh says with all seriousness.

"I don't want any PDA around me though. I don't need to see my best friend and sister making out," he says staring at us.

"Okay, deal," Josh says standing up from the couch.

Josh walks toward Tyler and they hug each other. The two of them both picking up the items on the floor and taking them to the kitchen. I can't help but feel my cheeks heating up at the thought of me and Josh being together. I have wanted this for so long and now it's finally happening. I just hope it'll last.
