Hannah and Emmet's List of Rules To Follow

Part 5

Emmet P.O.V  

I had taken the speakers from out home theatre and was about to find the cord in our room when Rose's voice rang out: "What are you doing?" I jumped and I decided to play dumb and said "Nothing," she raised an eyebrow at me and said "Then what's in the towel?" that's when I decided to bolt for it. I had run into Hannah's room and luckily she wasn't here. She would kill me if she knew I was going into her secret room, I pressed the well hidden button that made all the trapdoors open, I almost fell on my back but landed on my feet seconds before, the trapdoor closed over me and I looked around, there was a flat screen tucked in the corner in front was a white couch covered with a beige coloured blanket. In the other side of the room there was a white desk with a black swiveling chair pushed into it, the surface of the table was covered with blue prints, and I saw the one that was made for me, and I snorted. There was a small silver trash bin beside the table and I threw the blue print into it. There was the thing I was looking for, and supply closet, there was other closets probably full of clothes or something but I headed for the one labeled 'Supply' in thin cursive letters. I pulled the door open to see the vast number of things in there, on one shelf there were a small collection of smoke machines and another were some bottles, each one a different colour labeled 'Ink' and I slowly back away from it. I was looking for some wires, ah ha! I found a box with 'Wires' on it in the same small cursive lettering, she was sometimes a neat freak. I pulled the box open and proved my point each wire was tied neatly with small stickered saying which wire it was, but that helped me, I found 'Speaker wire' and pulled it out, which resulted in me spilling all the wires across the floor, I quickly shoved them back in and got up. I heard Hannah's voice "We're back!" and I stiffened, how did I get out? Shoot, shoot! Why hadn't I though of that? I was inspecting the floor seeing if there was some sort if elevator in the floor when I noticed one of the doors, Hannah was so weird sometimes, I mean who labels doors? But I'm not complaining, one of them were labeled 'Exit' and I smirked and opened it, inside was a some sort of elevator, I crawled in holding the wire in one hand the other curled around the speakers. And pressed the only button there: up. I reached the main floor just in time and was thrown out onto the carpet behind the couch, I was confused for a second but brushed it off, how much did Hannah's secret room cost? I shook my head to clear it and ran upstairs to Alice and Jasper's room, where I hooked the speakers together. I ran to Bella and Edward's cottage and hooked them up to Hannah's iPod, where there was a video that she'd found a few days ago. It was called 'Breaking Dawn with lyrics' and I listened to it and couldn't stop laughing. I had programmed the speakers to play when pressure was applied to the 'Welcome' mat in the front door. I hid with my video camera near the window. A few minutes later they both came, holding hands and walked onto the 'Welcome' mat and the music blasted: Bella shrieked in surprise and Edward jumped four feet in the air, I barely stopped myself from laughing. Edward tracked down where the music was coming from and he picked Hannah's iPod up, he snarled and crushed it in his hand, "Hannah!" he growled and they both sped off in the direction of the house. I followed them but stayed a good distance away to not draw attention to me.

Hannah P.O.V 

I was looking for my iPod when I decided I left it in my secret room. When I got in I noticed Emmet's scent in it and I quickly inspected everything: I was missing a speaker wire and I found my blue print for Emmet's prank in my trash bin, "Emmet!" I snarled and instead of using the 'elevator' I pushed open the trapdoor over my head and jumped out into the basement. I ran upstairs and asked Jocelyn: "Where's Emmet?"  

"Beats me," she shrugged and when she saw my expression "What did he do?" she asked grabbing my arm "He went into my secret room!" I said "You have a secret room?" she asked, I nodded "And I'm missing my iPod" just then I heard someone- no not someone, Edward yelling my name "What?" I snapped, he glowered at me and snapped "I know that it's fun playing jokes but this has gone too far!" he handed me my crushed iPod and I just lost it, "You jack***!" I yelled and launched myself at him, Bella tried to pry me off but she wasn't a newborn anymore but I was. Just then a wave of calm washed over me and I pushed myself off him due to Jasper pulling me off. I closed my eyes and sighed and said a single word "Emmet," Edward looked abashed and got up, brushing off some dirt that he'd fallen on, I picked the remnants of my iPod of the ground where I had dropped it and he said: "I'll buy you a new one," I smiled falsely "Yeah, then try to get all my documents back," I headed in the direction of Emmet's scent that Edward never noticed and found him, in some bushes watching something on Jocelyn's video camera, I just stood there waiting for the others. Jocelyn came in and saw Emmet and grabbed her camera. She saw what he'd done, "Breaking Dawn lyrics?" she asked me, "I didn't do anything!" I raised my hands in mock surrender. Emmet saw Edward and just ran for it. But Edward is the fastest vampire and he caught him.

Edward's P.O.V 

He was going to pay, seriously Hannah's ticked at me, we have a video of me jumping like a scared little girl and I was going to demolish him.
