Double Date - Chapter 24

After we left the guild and arrived at the apartment, I immediately got ready. Lucy helped me pick out what to wear and assisted me in my makeup.
"You look absolutely beautiful, (Y/N)!" She cheered as she fixed my hair. I open my eyes to see reflection in the vanity..
I was wearing a fit-and-flare dress that had a red to orange ombré. Sequins covered the dress, making it shine and sparkle. My hair was in a up-do with a red clip holding up the curls. My makeup was gorgeous. Red and pink shadow with a tint of yellow with black wing eyeliner. The red lipstick and matching high heels made it all come together. Not to mention the gold earrings and the necklace Natsu gave to me.

"Here! Grab your purse- you're gonna be late!" Lucy insisted. She started pushing me out the apartment, forcefully.
"God woman! Watch the butt!" I laugh.
"Yeah yeah, Natsu-only." She rolled her eyes laughing. My cheeks grew hot. We reached the door and heard a knock.
It was them.

"You're gonna be great, no stressing out!" She giggles.
"Thanks sis.. Well! Here goes nothing!" I give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. With a deep breath, I open the door, and there stood Natsu and Gray..

"Holy shit." Natsu broke the silence as he stared at me.
"Shut it.." I blush, harder.
"Damn. (Y/N) you're making me start to question my sexuality." Gray laughed.
"Back off ice-boy. She's mine." Natsu growled.
"We said no fighting tonight! Now come on, let's go." I smiled.
"If you say so, Lava girl." Natsu smirked. He bowed and held out his hand.. I placed my palm in his and together, the three of us walked out.

It was about a 10 minute walk, so it wasn't far. But the place was fancy, and very expensive. We had to work like 10 jobs to get enough money.

"How are you?" Natsu said holding my hand. Gray was calling Lyon over the phone, who was already at the restaurant.
"Good, very good-"
"I mean how are you." He said stopping. I look up at him, his delicate features shimmering under the moonlight,
"Can we not do this.." I mumble.
"I will not allow your bottle your feelings, (Y/N).. It's not healthy. It's Kcalb's and E.N.D's death day, not to mention the date when the war finally ended. I should have picked a different day, I'm sorry-" I stop him by a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Shh.. Let's not ruin this night... Come on. Gray's far ahead already.
"You're right.. Hey (Y/N)?" He asked gripping my hand.
"Yeah?" Suddenly I got butterflies in my stomach. He hardly ever gets this serious.
"I love you." I smile and kiss his nose.
"And I you."

"Hey love birds! Hurry up! We're here!" Gray called out.

We all found out reserved seats and sat down at the table. The restaurant was nice and quiet, yet romantic. Only the richest come here. We saw our waiter come and he dropped his notepad.
"Oh my!!! The legendary (Y/N) and Natsu! Such an honor!" He bowed.
"Not again." Natsu groaned.
"Did I hear (Y/N) and Natsu?!"
"Where?!"
"They saved us! Our heroes!!" We started to gain more and more attention, and the manager finally came out.

"So sorry Miss.. Would you four like to continue dinner in our private suite?"
"Hell yeah!" Natsu said getting up.
"Man, popularity follows you two like dogs on a leash." Lyon said laughing. We were like royalty after we 'saved' Fiore from E.N.D's wrath... I was only able to do this by killing my own brother.. If only they knew the truth. But how could we worry the public about me? I would be thrown away, killed even if they found out that I'm the demon they should fear.

Natsu must've noticed my despair because next thing I knew, he grabbed my hand and leaned into my ear saying,
"Like you said, let's not ruin the night." He kissed my forehead and we followed the manager to the suite. When we arrived there, it was absolutely stunning! It was located upstairs and the lights were dim, the carpet and walls were red, not to mention, the blood-red curtains covered the windows. It looked like a room made for a Queen. All with one single table in the middle.

"And then- then! Lyon started getting a nosebleed once Ur started stripping down!" We all laughed at the story Gray was telling us. I have never seen Lyon so red!
"Please! Like you weren't staring at her ass when she was in nothing but underwear!" He shot back smiling. Gray got red immediately.
"And I thought you were gay." Natsu made a joke.
"Oh fire boy shut it!!" seeing Gray's embarrassment only made us laugh even more.

"I agree, even if Gray is gay, you're telling me you wouldn't get even a little bit red if you saw your teacher stripping?" I poke Natsu.
"Well I bathed with Gray and Erza when we were younger.. Now that I think about it-" he shivers in disgust at the thought.
"I think it's pretty clear being bisexual has its perks!" Lyon said.
"Oh shut you and your bisexual ass up." Gray said smirking.
"What can I say?! Juvia's hot." Lyon said drooling. Gray slapped Lyon's head once again in a playful matter.
"Obviously, being demisexual is the best." Natsu bragged.
"You guys are such idiots." We all share a laugh and continue to finish our meal.

"Well.. Me and Lyon have some news." Gray said putting his napkin down. Me and Natsu paid attention to the couple in front of us.
"We do?" Lyon said confused.
"Yes, we do.." We all witnessed  Gray get on one knee and pull out a small black box. Me and Natsu gasped.

"Lyon Vastia, I've known you ever since I was a child. Obviously we had our fair share of fights too.." He was sweating and blushing, it was so cute. We all giggled.
"But no matter what we went through it together.. I love you Lyon, so.. Will you marry me?"

"HELL YES!" Lyon shouted jumping into his arms. Natsu hugged me tightly. I looked up at the big goof-ball to see him on the verge of crying.
"You really care for Gray, don't you?" I smile at him.
"He is my most beloved friend and my bitterest rival.. And he's growing up.." Natsu smiled. Gray over heard and came over with Lyon. The two held each other and Gray smiled at Natsu.

"Well my beloved equal, will you take the honor to be my Best Man?"
"I don't think I could be any prouder." The two hugged tightly.

"Well!! I have my fair of good news too!" The three guys all turned to me, smiling.
"Well.. I just found the best news a woman could receive.. Natsu.. I'm three weeks-"

"(Y/N)!!!" We all turned to the stairway, and there was Lucy.

"You're okay!" The woman said..
